New Palmolive scent

I recently bought my Palmolive from the store when my Gallon refill ran out. I am so disappointing with the new smell. Went to the store to replace my 2 bottles that I bought and I cannot find the ORIGINAL scent. What happened to it? Will it come back? I have used Palmolive all my like and my mother still uses it. So 5 decades. Since its creation. Please let me know where I can find the original scent and formula. I am about to throw out 2 full bottles. That is how much I dislike its cleaning power and smell.
Cons: Not as effective on grease, Strong Odor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Long time user but not anymore

I have been using this dish detergent for over 10 years. When I opened the most recent bottle, I noticed that is had a very strong fruity smell. As I was using it, I found that the smell began to irritate my nose and caused me to sneeze frequently. Then I noticed that the labeling indicated New and Max Power. It seems to me that you went ahead and "improved" the product when is did not need improvement. I can't stand it when companies make changes for the sake of calling their product new. As a result, I will no longer buy this product
Pros: Still cleans well
Cons: Strong Odor

New Smell Is Disgusting

Have used Palmolive dish soap for years as did my mother and grandmother and loved the subtle scent. The new scent is over powering and sticks to the item being washed. It is AWFUL - at least give us a choice to choose between original scent and new, awful scent. Will be looking for an alternative brand after generations of using it.

Bring Back Old Scent

Opened a new bottle today and noticed a weird smell. I thought maybe it was an old bottle. Or, worse yet, they changed the scent! I went straight to google, and sure enough other people have noticed. And like others, I too am not a fan of the new scent. It is too strong and sweet. I know you will not bring back the original scent, so can the new scent at least be toned down? I am not sure I will buy it again even though I have been using it for decades- just like my mom had.
Pros: Easy On Skin
Cons: Strong Odor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has been great for my hands

I have eczema, so my skin gets very irritated with soaps, but I don't like to wear gloves. Well because my sister gave me a large bottle of the dish soap she uses I didn't buy my regular Palmolive. Her soap is great on grease (not that yours isn't) but terrible on my hands my eczema and the dryness got so bad there were cuts on my pinky and I couldn't bend my pinky which is where I'm affected the most. I started using my medicine of course but still used the other soap. I didn't get better. I bought my trusty Palmolive and I kept putting my medicine, of course, and my hands, pinky felt better and I could bend my pinky without problem. This is my dish soap from now on. I don't mind the scent, it all smells good to me. :)
Pros: Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser, Pleasant Smell
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't wash out of dishes!

So I have used palmolive before in my dishwasher and it worked just fine. My dishwasher has been broken so I've been scrubbing dishes by hand and using this soap. Ever since I've been doing this, the soap won't come out of the dishes no matter how much I scrub or how much I rinse it off! It is so frustrating when I take the time to cook a good meal and it comes out tasting like ultrastrength palmolive. Such a disgusting taste and waste of good food.
Pros: Attractive, Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser, Pleasant Smell
Cons: Doesn't wash out of dishes, Makes food taste like soap
