New Scent Smells Like Deodorant Tabs Used in Men's Urinals

I have been using Palmolive for 25 plus years. The new scent smells just like the deodorant tabs used in the urinals of men's restrooms. It is a pleasant smell in a restroom but not the smell/scent I want to smell in the kitchen. I do not know how Palmolive could have gotten this scent so wrong. I hope they can turn it around quickly so that I can buy Palmolive again. I rated the best use of this product for the bathroom due to it's new pleasant urinal scent. I would not recommend it's use in the kitchen unless you like the smell of men's urinals in your cooking/eating area.

Can't stand sickly sweet smell

I too have been using this happily for many, many years. I too was "trapped" into buying a big jug when I saw the word "original". The new smell isn't just bad, it nauseates me. Sickly sweet. I travelled to all the local stores and cannot find the old Palmolive. Also the fold over cap is not as neat as the pull up cap. Sadly you lost a loyal customer until I see the old bottle without the Ultra designation. I wish you had marketed both for at least a while so we could "vote" with out purchases on this. Very, very disappointed.

Horrible smell

I have always used the original green Palmolive. Never again. I immediately switched to Dawn after the first use of this terribly smelly concoction you came up with. What were you thinking? Let's get rid of our loyal customers with a stinky change?

Bring Back the True Original Scent!

The original Palmolive scent always brought back childhood memories of helping my mother wash the dishes in the 60's. Since becoming an adult I have been faithful to green Palmolive though I have from time to time experimented with other brands. While other dish soaps are good, I have always preferred my green Palmolive as it filled my mind with happy thoughts. This new and improved Ultra Palmolive does fine with the job of cleaning but the scent is too fruity and does not project the clean smell I have associated with the true original. If the original scent is not returned I will probably start looking for another brand to become loyal to. Truly bad idea for Colgate to fix something that wasn't broken. Think "New Coke" level of bad idea.
Pros: Attractive, Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser
Cons: Strong Odor

New scent has me switching brands.

The original green Palmolive is a scent I grew up with. When I began my own household, I became a faithful Palmolive user as well, for that very reason. However, the scent has changed and so will the brand of my next bottle of dish detergent. It's so unpleasantly chemical-smelling now; I've tried to get used to it, but it's not worth the extra annoyance on top of having to wash dishes. Why change a tried and true formula? Whatever the reason, you've lost another loyal customer. Please bring back the actual original scent.

I would not buy again without a change in the perfume.

Using the product in the kitchen works great. But the perfume is tooooo much. Who wants flowery perfume taste in your mouth while doing dishes......? Im using up my bottle because I am cheap. but I wont buy it again...

Disgusting flowery chemical smell

I have been using only original Palmolive green my whole life. I never purchased any other brands or scents. Now I am looking for another brand because the original is no longer available. I am tossing this bottle of ultra strength because it is sickening. I don't need extra strength. The original worked fine. I usually use unscented products whenever possible, but I loved the original green scent because it was mild smelling and easily rinsed away. Please bring back the original. Until then I must use something else.

Made the clean up of my party super easy even used it to clean my grill after and it was super easy to get all the burnt pieces off .
