I will no longer use Palmolive!

I am dismayed that Palmolive changed it scent and quality. When I opened the new bottle, I was instantly overwhelmed by the overly sweet, almost decaying smell. Nevertheless, I went ahead and used it to wash some dishes. Unfortunately, I had to use a lot more product because the suds kept dissolving and the dishes had to be washed twice. I am completely appalled that this product has lost its value and nostalgic fragrance. If and until the "original" Palmolive is returned, I will no long be using any of the Palmolive line of detergents. I'm not sure I can even trust this company anymore.
Pros: Good Dispenser
Cons: Diluted product, Disgusting smell, Poor value, Strong Odor, Unattractive Design

Bring back the original green scent

Contacted customer service and they stated this is the scent for the green. I have had this issue with original Gain, blue Pinesol and now green Palmolive. Manufacturers need to stop messing with the original. I don't care if they have 15 new scent versions, the original is always the best, look what happened to Coke when they tried eliminating the original, they brought it back quickly. I won't purchase any Palmolive products until they bring back the original green.

Horrible smell!

I have used Palmolive Original for many years (decades!) and always liked its sweet, unobtrusive scent and gentle yet strong cleaning power. To my surprise, recent purchases of what I thought was the same product have a horrible, chemical smell, which I cannot tolerate and I may have to discard these bottles. I have been looking to purchase a few bottles with the original scent from leftover inventories, but will need to switch to a different brand in the future unless you can bring back the original scent. Thank you. Note: Contrarily to the check below, I did NOT receive this product as a sample, I bought it in a store. Your web form did not leave the choice to enter NO, below, but forced a YES, despite being titled 'Select One'.

Hate the "new, improved" palmolive

I have used Palmolive dish detergent for about 50 years! Loved the scent. The new scent is awful, my husband hates it also, and he does dishes a lot (or used to-he doesn't like the new scent---so I've lost my helper!) I'm not crazy about the new dispenser spout, the other one was easier to lift the bottle with wet soapy hands, not this one. PLEASE change back to the original that was good enough for your customers for many years.

What am I going to do with the remaining 31.5 ounces?

The new formula smells awful. I don't think I'm going to be able to finish the bottle. I hoped I would get used to it, but 3 weeks later it still gives me a headache. I see you have a "pure and clear" product or something, and yet it also has "fragrance" listed. Maybe it's subtle enough that it won't bother me, like the earlier formulation, but at this point I'm not really keen on taking the chance. Am I really going to have to pay twice as much for some "all natural" brand just to avoid awful smells? I just want to get my dishes clean. And no, I didn't receive this product for free, your web page is broken. (It says "Select one", so I clicked it and it turned out to be a button that can't be turned off.)

HATE, HATE, HATE IT!!!

The new "original" Palmolive dish soap is beyond horrible! It's a watered down version and smells like a chemical factory. What were you guys thinking?!? I've been using Palmolive dish soap since the Madge-era days and always loved it! This stuff literally burns my eyes and nose and I have to use twice as much to get the job done. If you want to bring a "new" scent on the market, fine, but don't call it the "original" and don't color it green! There are very few products that I have been loyal to over many years, and this dish soap was one of them. PLEASE bring back the true ORIGINAL Palmolive dish soap!!!

Can't stand new smell; please bring back Original ORIGINAL

I've used the original green Palmolive for decades. My mom used it when I was a little girl and I continued when I had my own home. I loved the fragrance. It cleaned the greasy dishes well and it brought back great memories of family. I tused a couple of the other fragrances (colors) when in someone else's home but couldn't stand the smell. So I naturally continued buying the green Palmolive, but something wasn't right months ago. The fragrance had changed, and it was so irritating it gave me a headache. It cleaned okay - seemed to take more soap to do the job. But my biggest complaint is the fragrance. Please bring back the original ORIGINAL green Palmolive.
Pros: Cleans okay
Cons: Strong Odor

I don't like the new Palmolive Ultra

I have been using original Palmolive for over 30 years & all of a sudden it isn't available anymore, that makes me very sad. I tried the new ultra & I don't like it, it is harsh on my hands & I don't like the smell. So I tried the pure + clear & I don't like that either. Why would you change the original that has been around that long. I kept looking thinking they have to have it but no luck. I just now decided to check online & found out it isn't available. If I had known that I would of bought a bunch so I wouldn't run out for a long time. I am very disappointed, I will find a different dish soap.
