Love at First Write

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How exciting to get to try out the new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils! I am old enough to have used some of the first generations of BIC Mechanical pencils and they were a mainstay during high school years. I definitely preferred them over traditional pencils back then and I absolutely do now! These new pencils are amazing. They write so smoothly. They have the feel and look of a pen but they're a pencil. They make me want to start writing in pencil again. I have started drawing more since we have had these. They are so comfortable to hold. A definite improvement over the ones I used years ago.

Super smooth writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used mechanical pencils all the time. This one has all the features I look for: a comfort grip, an eraser, and fun colors. All pencils claim to write smoothly, but this one really does. I was impressed by just how easily mistakes erase. I used these to plan out my school schedule and made a lot of "adjustments". I've replaced my other pencils with these - the pink is my favorite.
I only gave 4 stars instead of 5, because of the eraser. I wish it was a little larger and firmer. As it got smaller, I found myself advancing lead while erasing. Also the smaller the eraser gets the harder it is to remove - and you have to remove it to change the lead. The package does include extra erasers,so I'll just have to change them a little sooner. Hopefully more can be purchased separately.
Overall, this is a great pencil that makes good on its claims.

Keep your pencil as sharp as your mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids hate dull pencil tips. With these pencils they zoom through their work and really get things done because they are not sharpening the pencil all if the time. Theyvalso love the erasers and tell me how much better they work than others.

Beat Mechanical Pencils Hands Down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that these are the best mechanical pencils that I have ever used. I have always been a fan of Bic ink pens. These Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils are comfortable to hold and writes very clear just like regular number 2 wooden pencils. I would recommend that you give these a try. You will never use any other kind of pencil after writing or drawing with these Bic pencils.

Writing the right way

Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils - Perfect for school!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the Big Velocity Mechanical Pencils are perfect for school. At first I was inclined to keep them all to myself and use them at home, but once my 11 year old son got a hold of them I noticed that more and more of my BIC pencils were missing off my desk. My son said that they were perfect for school because they allowed him to write much neater and he liked that they looked cool too. He also said that the eraser was really good compared to other pencils too and asked if he could take more in his backpack for school.

BIc Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are awesome. They write really smooth. At work I need to write in really small spaces. These pencils are perfect for that. The eraser also works wonderfully. The other managers at work dig through the pencil jar to find the BIC mechanical pencils I brought in. On our dungeons and dragons nights everyone wants to use these. We will definitely be keeping these around.

Makes homework fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received these BIC Velocity mechanical pencils, my kids couldn't open them up quickly enough! They were so excited to try them out!! After deciding who gets which color, the writing began. They were so fun! They wrote really smooth and the eraser erases fully without smudging and the easer works easily meaning you don't need to strain your arm to erase. It took very little pressure for any mistakes to be corrected. We also really liked that it came with extra erasers and lead. Now that the kids are in school, these BIC pencils are the first ones they reach for when it's homework time. It makes them feel like they're using something fancy and special!
