Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils

A New Favorite Pencil in This House

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Bic products. Even when I was in school, I favored their pens and pencils. Once my son became of school age, I ended up buying them for him as well. My son tends to have sloppy handwriting, so we stick to mechanical pencils because the lead doesn't dull like a traditional pencil. With it's smooth, clean writing, Bic Velocity pencils make his writing look much better. He also loves the fact that they come in bright colors. So far, the orange and yellow are his favorite. He's not much of a pink fan, so I snagged that one for my collection! Another favorite feature in the eraser. Being in middle school, my son makes A LOT of mistakes while working on his assignments. Sometimes, it's hard to tell what he actually wrote with all the marks left behind from erasing. That's not a worry here. With just a swipe of the eraser, marks are erased cleanly and completely. Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are fantastic!

Even the eraser is bigger but speaker than the regular pencils.. I get so many compliments when I take them out or let some on have 1. These are going to be a hit

Good line of writing instruments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good, well made pencils. They feel great in your hand and not a wimpy, brittle barrel. Lead is easy to replace as are the erasures. Personally I like the side click over the top click, but that is just personal preference. I like the colors, easy to find in my bag or on the desk! My son's like them although they like the top click over the side. All in all they write easily, change the lead easily, they erase well and don't rip the pages. All in all it is good, minus one star because the tops are a little hard to remove.

Better Then Most Mechanical Pencils I Have Tried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are way better then most I have tried over the year and my son agrees. The lead does not break off easily and the eraser actually works!! My son also loves how big the grip is. It makes it very comfortable for writing for school or for drawing. Will definitely repurchase!!

Smooth writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best mechanical pencils out there! BICVelocity has strong #2 lead to write with and erasers that don't smear. Coming with the extra lead and erasers are a great bonus! They come in bright colors and are easy to write with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was very excited to see the colors the pencils arrived in and she quickly took the purple one for herself. She is in the 7th grade now. She used the pencil at home to do some of her home work and practice math problems. According to her the writing was quite bold and she liked the look and color of the lead. Sometimes it did feel a bit rough depending on the angle, otherwise overall it was smooth. The lead did not break at all even if you pressed hard for darker writing.
