Vibrant Colors!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I were very skeptical at first with these mechanical pencils. My daughter really does not like using mechanical pencils because the leads always seem to break as she is writing with them. She was very impressed with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, the leads did not break on them near as much, and she loved the feel of writing with them. With her mistakes being erased fairly clean, as she does make a few. She also likes that she was able to color coordinate her notebooks/subjects with the pencils. She keeps the pencils with the notebooks so she is not searching when we are trying to start school. Above all, we are loving that she is not discouraged by the leads breaking as she is writing.

My son loves mechanical pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has always loved mechanical pencils. We were both excited to receive the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils through Bzzagent.
Our first thought was they look very nice. We both like all the colors of the pencils and my son quickly chose the onse he likes. The width of the barrel is nice. We both liked that the barrel is thicker than a lot of mechanical pensils. The wider barrel nakes the pencil feel more substantial in your hand, making it easier to write. lead is definitely strong and smooth. I asked my son what he liked about the pencils and he said "they write smooth" that was his answer without reading package or any outside influence.
The thing we didn't care for too much was the eraser. It's small. We find that same problem with all mechanical pencils. It would be nice if it had the same size eraser as a regular pencil.
We received these free for exchange for a review but we will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Great writing tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know for a fact that my daughter has been having a good time using her new mechanical pencils. They're so easy to use and they come in a variety of colors. She can take the pink one on one day and then switch the blue one, so I think this is her way of showing her style and personality.
It's a sturdy product, works really well with a 13 year olds hard handed ways! She writes with a heavy hand and these pencils stand up to her homework .

Great writing, smooth lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the way these pencils write but, I have to say, for my son whose 10, I just don't think he's ready for them yet. Both he and I write pretty hard and he tended to play with the mechanics of the pencil more than focus on the writing. The leads tend to break when he writes, though the eraser works very well.
Another drawback is I had two pencils break on me; the bottom part at the tip. It was right in the middle of writing something important both times. Also on another pencil the plastic at the eraser broke, so technically I could still use that pencil, but I could not attach it to a notebook.
If I do buy mechanical pencils in the future, I would definitely consider buying these pencils and hopefully will not have the problems with the pencils breaking.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are my New Favorite Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the very best pencil that I have ever used. I can say that is very visually pleasing, easy to hold and maneuver, and writes perfectly. The lead is very smooth and I like how it does not drag when I write on paper. My children both LOVE this pencil and use it every day at school and while at home doing their homework. This is a product that I plan to purchase again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great! My children and I love the beautiful, bright colors they come in. I like that these mechanical pencils are always sharp and ready to write with, no more looking for a sharp pencil, or the need to constantly re-sharpen a pencil while writing important notes or doing homework! The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have a strong lead that doesn't break easily, and which writes very smooth and dark. The handwriting of my children looked so much more neat, and even little mistakes disappeared easily, without smudging or leaving big marks behind, thanks to the durable, white erasers on them. Another great and unique feature in my opinion is that the erasers have caps on them, which prevents you from accidentally releasing more lead when being tossed into a pencil case or backpack! The package also includes extra lead, plus extra erasers, that make it a great value! My kids' favorite feature about these pencils, besides the vibrant colors, are the soft, cushion-like pencil grips, which make it so much more comfortable to write with them, unlike other brands that used to give my oldest daughter constantly blisters from writing so much at school and at home. I like the durable quality of the pencils, you can tell they are made to last! I have already bought more, and highly recommend them!

Sharp Point, Erases Great, Fun Colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils! I love that they offer an easy and pleasant writing experience, they don't need to be sharpened, and that the eraser erases mistakes so well.
I home school my daughter who goes through pencils quicker than anyone I know! She loves to have a sharp point and seems to constantly sharpen her typical pencils. These don't require sharpening and she is thrilled with that as well! They always have a sharp point which helps to make her work clear and neatly written. She also loves that they include her favorite color, pink.
Overall, we are two happy campers that are thrilled with these BIC pencils! Bravo BIC!
