Smooth writing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC's Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a win in our household. The colors are super fun - just bright and cheerful, and according to my daughter, fun to use. They're very sturdy as well and feel solid in your hand. They're very smooth to write with, no smudging, and the leads don't break like a lot of other mechanical pencils. My daughter is usually a regular pencil girl, but she grabbed a couple of these for a few of her classes that she's allowed to use mechanical pencils in (other teachers say they can't stand the constant clicking, haha). Her science teacher was so impressed with her bright Velocity pencils that I sent along some from the extra pack for the classroom. My daughter just thinks they're fun to use, and because they write smoothly, erasing mistakes is much easier. The eraser is good quality and doesn't leave those unsightly smudges that cheap erasers leave on paper. Since those drive my kiddo crazy, she's very happy to use them!
They're great for adults, too! My husband is a mechanical pencil fiend and uses them all day for work. He usually buys regular Bic mechanical pencils and has always liked them, but he likes the heftier, sturdier feel of the Velocity pencils. He managed to convince our daughter to share a couple with him and he's been obsessed with using them ever since. The only downside is that we can't seem to find any of the regular Velocity pencils in store (only the side-click, which my family doesn't like as much). These are great pencils for kids and adults: lots of fun to look it, but really good at what they're meant for - writing smoothly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my BIC Velocity mechanical pencils in the mail, 8 kids were instantly in love. The colors were so bright as well as the fun shape of the pencils. The pencils have a rubber grip for comfort and support. When we actually started writing the letters were darker and it did not break every time you pressed it to the paper. When erasing it wiped clean instead of smudging and smearing. BIC velocity is well worth it. My kids and I are excited about our mechanical pencils.

Amazing pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these mechanical pencils. They work beautifully and are easy to use. I love all the bright colors that they come in. The pencils write so smoothly and I really like them much better than other mechanical pencils. They also erase much better than other pencils. They do not leave a greyish residue behind like some others would.

Velocity #2 pencils better than any others

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My opinion of the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils is that they are WONDERFUL. I love the bright colors of the pencils themselves. They are not the typical black plastic that most other mechanical pencils come in. The #2 lead writes smoothly and almost fluidly. It doesn't smear easily which can be a problem with other pencils. The lead erases easily, and the eraser doesn't leave behind much debris. The fact that the pencils come with extra lead and erasers are a plus. I can refill my favorite color (orange) and keep it in my purse at all times. The BIC Velocity pencils get an A+ in my mind. LOVE them. Fun colors, and functional. Well made product. Thank you BIC.

BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has been using the purple BIC mechanical pencil since the beginning of 6th grade this year. It is now the only pencil he uses at school because it doesn't have to be sharpened and the lead does not break. My son uses a lot of pressure on a pen or pencil when he writes and most mechanical pencil will break because they use the standard 0.5 mm leads. The BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils use a thicker 0.77mm lead that does not break as often as the normal lead.
He also likes the clear plastic eraser lid, but wishes they were included in the lead and eraser refill package because he lost the lid at school. I had to use the lid from one of the other pencils to replace the one he lost.

My new mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is one great mechanical pencil it is easy to use and easy to write with the writing is very smooth or your work is very smooth your work or your words do not smear or fade as you are using this mechanical pencil it is easy to erase your work if you need to and it is easy to read loves the mechanical pencil when it needs to be reloaded this mechanical pencil is great for children or yourself to write the mechanical pencil is very comfortable to write with or do you work with and the design is very great to have and hold in your hand and the color is very bright and very pretty and they do come in different colors this mechanical pencil is great to have and I really enjoyed my mechanical pencils when I used them and I love using them thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love using these mechanical pencils at school. They are 12 and 15 years old. They say they write so much better than the others. And as a parent I love the extra erasers and lead that come with them. Makes the price even better. I really like how smooth they write. Highly recommend these.
