[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying many different mechanical pencils, I never could find one that was perfect. The twist-up erasers always twist back down as you erase, the led breaks incredibly easy, and they just didn't look appealing enough for a teenager to want to use them for schoolwork. Until... I tried the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils. My daughter was immediately drawn to the bright colors. No more erasers twisting back down into the barrel as you erase, and led that lasts. We also liked the comfortable, smooth, and brightly colored grip. Anything that is appealing to a teenager, cost-effective, and quality I am for! No more buying pencils and trying out new brands every other week!

Bic Velocity Pencil write smooth

Very durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I was really surprised at how nice and durable they are. I that they are sturdy and built well. My niece thought for sure I had given her a pen. It is not fragile like the other mechanical pencils. And it writes nicely. I also believe the lead holds better.

Great for MANY uses!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest daughter is a sophomore in high school and sings in several choral ensembles. These are great for marking her music because they erase cleanly after the [performance so she can return the sheet music for later use! All my kids fight over who gets to take the pencils to school. I had to buy several packs to ensure that they all got some!

Great mechanical pencils

Excellent writing / Drawing Tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From my own personal experience with this new BIC Velocity Mechancial Pencil to everyone I buzzed to (who also tried it courtesy of BzzAgent!) gave it a 5-star rating. Me, personally, loved the grip and the feel of it in my hand. It wrote smooth and erased clean. the last pencil I used, (standard yellow #2), paled in comparison. I love the fact they are re-fillable and that this pack came not only with the addt'l lead, but erasers too! What pencils I kept will last me a long time, which in and of itself, is a great thing! The other points of note, were the colors (fun for the little ones) and the fact the lead did not seem to break instantly when you begin to use it. All in all, a great tool!!
