[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son Fernando likes to use BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils to write in L.Arts class and at home for homework. He likes that the eraser clean up well without breaking the paper. Fernando liked the soft grip on the pencil and it gave him comfort while writing. I like that BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils are good to use for standardized tests. I would buy these pencils for my son. He enjoyed using BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils and likes that the package comes with extra erasers and lead. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Opinion is all my own. #gotitfree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves mechanical pencils, we have tried lots of different brands and he loves the BIC Velocity! He said the lead doesn't break as easily as others and he likes how it erases clean! I have a happy 6th grader!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand of pencil are strong, reliable, and help me to put my thoughts in writting for the world to see. I love the vivid colors and candy erasers that come with this product. This free product that I recieved for free is my true opinion about this brand. College has started again and I am ready for all the learning I have to face. I was glad to see that the erasers even had covers to keep them safe. I am giving this my favorite approval with the grade of A+.

Not a cheap Mechanical Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil fits nicely in your hand. It has a solid feel with a true soft comfort gripper. The colors are fun and the package comes with extra lead/erasers. The lead is strong and does not break under regular use. When the lead runs out you do not feel like it was a disposable pencil. I wanted to refill it and keep using it. The pencil writes smooth and clean. The eraser did not flip out of position when pressing to erase and it completely erased. My daughter also enjoys using the Velocity Mechanical pencil. She took the pink and purple. In her words "its just cool." She liked that the eraser did its job without tearing her paper. It is a nice Mechanical pencil.

fantastic for my students

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are fantastic for my students. They save my students constantly having to sharpen their pencils. They write smoothly and the lead rarely breaks, but when it does there is a generous amount of extra to refill with. There are also extra erasers to refill with too! Love this product!
