BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loved this pencil at first until you run out of lead. Trying to replace the lead was a chore, it did not fit properly and you had to take it completely apart for it to fit. Oh, and don't wait until the end of the lead to change it because the end piece broke off in the pencil and we could not get it removed. Love how it writes, but not changing it; nor does the eraser work well either.

Back To School Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love back-to-school shopping when I was a kid. New notebooks and markers made August seem like New Years Eve... A new chance to start again. My children feel the same way I did back then and love the preparation of starting another grade so we were thrilled to receive BIC's Velocity pencils from BzzAgent. They're bright and fun, the perfect alternative to boring wooden pencils. More like pens than pencils, I often grab one thinking there's ink inside (note : the banks do not appreciate checks made out in pencil...) The comfort grip makes writing pleasant and the lead does not break as easily as some mechanical pencils. BIC Velocity has been a great addition to our new school supplies and don't tell my kids but I stole all the purple ones to bring to work....

Not You Average Pencil

Getting free items is great; getting free items that are great is totally awesome. These pencils are both. The pencils were really nice quality and had a nice weight to them. It felt more like using a quality pen than a mechanical pencil. These pencils will hold up for a long time and come with lead and eraser refills. The .7 mm lead was strong enough not to break when my 5 year old wrote with it and it seemed to glide across the paper with little effort. The rubber grip is a nice touch. It seemed to help my 5 year old's grip and her hand didnt seem to get as tired when doing her schoolwork. I found myself opting to use these over pens when jotting down my grocery lists etc. Guys might consider the pencils girly because of the bright colors but I love them.

BIC Velocity Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils came just in time for B2S. They went straight in the kids back pack, of course I kept one for myself. My sons love them! I like how they almost look like a pen. I have to say I was a little disappointed, I thought they were going to be mechanical colored pencils. Still a really good quality product.

Sturdy pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are sturdy and have great grip. I like the covers for the eraser, even though they could get easily lost. The pencils feel good in my kids' hands. They were excited to use them and like them. I did get them free to try, but the review is 100% my opinion. I do like the fact the erasers can be replaced after they are used, so the pencils can be used longer and aren't wasted when the eraser is gone.

Highschooler loves these pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is very picky when it comes to buying school supplies. They have to look cool and be stylish. The night before the first day school was hectic and we didn't have time to go shopping for school supplies. The morning of the first day of school he frantically came to me and said he needed pencils. I gave him the pack of Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils and asked him if these were cool enough to bring to school. He replied "yeah" these will definitely work out. Later in the evening I asked him if he needed to buy some other mechanical pencils and he said no. These BIC Velocity pencils are working out great. We will definitely repurchase these in the near future. They are inexpensive and the quality of the pencils are good. The lead doesn't get jammed up and they write and erase smoothly.

The erasers work good and It comes with extra lead and erasers also. I like that they come in different colors so everyone can get their favorite color.

Writing made easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved how the lead seemed thicker and the pencil seemed more sturdy. My son is in 5th grade and writes more than before. He has noticed a difference between the Bic Velocity and store brand mechanical pencils.
