Unexpected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product. Really like that it comes with extra erasures. Nice feature as typically they don’t last the life of the pencil. In general I stay away from Mechanical pencils as they seem cheap and break easily. So far this has not been the case. I have used them and my 12 year old daughter takes them to school.

Love Mechanical Pencils!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils are terrific. My 10 year old swears by them and will no longer use a traditional pencil. She loves that she no longer has to sharpen her pencils and she also loves the soft grip that no longer hurts her fingers. So for my little girl, going forward she only wants to use the mechanicla pencils!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I gave my oldest son a pack of Bic velocity pencils and he now will not leave the house without one . He used to have trouble with erasing his corrections and he says his papers are cleaner than ever . The smoothness of the lead when he writes makes it easy to read his hand writing ... He loves them more than the average pencil

Bic Does it Right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had the opportunity to experience the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils and really hit her Senior year running with assignment after assignment. Luckily she was prepared and said the mechanical pencils were a nice touch.... Not only are they colorful, but they have a nice stong lead and a smooth writing texture that she commented on and said she liked. She also shared a few with her friends so they could experience them. Thanks to Bic for starting the school year on a positive note!

Still *not* Loving School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With back to school supplies lists getting more expensive each year, I've opted to go for quality, not quantity. After recieving my bzz kit, I divided up the pencils between my kids to get a real feel for the abuse they can take. With 2 boys in middle school, and 1 starting out in college, we need supplies that are going to last. Schools been in for 3 weeks now, and these Bic Velocity pencils really make the grade. The colors are vibrant, erasers are capped, and the lead comes out almost like a pen. When holding these pencils, you can feel the quality they're made with. They have a soft yet firm rubber grip to help the writers cramp. We would compare the smoothness to a high quality ball point pen, or a gel pen, the leads not too soft where it wears away with 1 assignment, yet not too hard, it glides smoothly and easily. The white erasers really get the job done. I couldn't be happier that they come with extra leads and erasers. These pencils are built to last. By now the cheapys are usually breaking under the weight of the books smashing them as my boys toss their bags down when they get home, or the broken erasers from the 2 times they've erased something. My 3 children are all still using the first pencil they started with. They've all reported using their Velocity daily, at least once. They have no complaints. Very comfortable, sturdy, and stylish. They don't like school any better, but they definitely love their new Bic Velocity Pencils!
