Write like a pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and my daughter tried them. I thought they would be like any other mechanical pencil but they are NOT. They sit in our hands perfect and the lead does not break like those other mechanical pencils. I have used my BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil every day and I have not had to refill it yet. I still have lead left over. My daughter is in high school and she uses it all day every day and she is amazed at how well these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils work.

My son loves these pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is very particular about what kinds of pencils he uses and sometimes it can get frustrating for me. If we don't have a pencil he likes, he shuts down. He has symptoms of Asperger's, among other things, so sensation is a big 'thing' for him. I opened the package of Bic Velocity and hoped for the best. He tried one out, and actually loved it. He said it felt comfortable in his hand and they were easy to write with. I will now have these on hand at all times with refills.
I decided to take a couple to work because I use pencils on occasion and my coworkers do too. This pencil writes with a smooth line and it has quite a dark line. I love that they are refillable too. I am impressed with the eraser... a lot of the erasers you get on mechanical pencils do not work well, but this one easily erases my mistakes. The lead is strong and does not break easily and the tip is retractable. But the best feature? The comfortable grip.
For myself, I love the fun colors that it comes in. I took the purple and pink and gave my son the yellow, orange and blue for school. He has been using these pencils for a couple of weeks now and they have really held up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grand daughters loved the Bic Velocity Mechanixal Pencils I recieved as free samples to try and review from BzzAgent. My grand daughters love the bright fun colors of all the pencils and Es H have a favorite the prefer. They had a blast writing and drawing with pencil lead that does not break easily. The loved the eraser that has a top to it and we're happy when they could use the eraser to erase a mistake and it worked! I am very excited to see my grand daughters loving these mechanical Bic Velocity pencils and actually enjoying themselves while doing their school work.

Almost perfect...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils write very smoothly and the lead is strong. I hate when the lead constantly breaks! And with kids, that's a constant problem. They don't seem to know their own strength!
And it erases easily and cleanly. They came just in time for back to school. :) If your kids like mechanical pencils, these are great! Kids are hard on pencils so the stronger lead definitely helps!
The only thing I would change is the tiny cap that covers the eraser. It's very easy to lose. Especially for younger children. If the cap was somehow attached, these would be perfect! But, you can always just remove the cap and throw it away. It concerns me because I also have a toddler and it's a definite choking hazard. Easy fix though, just don't use it or be very careful and keep a close eye on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vic Velocity is the best writing mechanical pencils my kids ever used. They have drawn many characters from there favorite cartoons. The erasers are the cleanest we have ever seen. It makes making mistakes fun. They have had the greatest time using them.

You get five amazing colors to write with with twelve extra leads & five erasers. You have stronger lead that erases so clean. The pencils have soft grips & retractable tips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a bit hit with my daughter!! She loves all the bright colors and the smooth writing lead. They are very comfortable to hold and write with. The easily eraseable lead has been very helpful for all the mathematic equations she has been working this school year!! I am so glad we got these free and have been recommending them to all my friends and family!
