Great pencils for the cost!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils work great! My kids use them everyday at school. Can't beat not having to get up and sharpen during class! Solid and last which most don't. I recommend getting them!

Daughter stole them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had them a few moments I was using them to draw a cartoon. My 16 yr old who loves mechanical pencils saw them waited for me to get up and get a drink and she stole them and ran off. She says they are great, she likes the study feel and the grip. My only complaint is the leads don't hold a decent fine point without breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children have never really liked mechanical pencils a lot, because the lead breaks so easily and they don't seem to write as well. They love these pencils however. The lead really does write darker than most other mechanical pencils, and the lead doesn't break as easily. They also love the look and feel of this pencil. Comes in great colors. Great job Bic on a high quality product.

Love these smooth pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! Very smooth writing, nice color lead. The pencils are fun and bright with a great design. The lead erases very nicely and doesn't leave residue on the page. All in all these are a great writing tool that I'm glad to have tried! They make writing my short stories a lot more fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a senior in highschool this year and has been using these pencils since the first day of school. He likes how the thicker lead is more sturdy than some other pencils he has used. I like how mistakes are erased cleanly (you know boys - they don't care much about making things neat and clean!) The colors are also fun and stand out.

Good and Gone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened my first package to try out these new pencils. I should have known to try it without my kids nearby.
I started by drawing and testing out the lead quality. I'm not an artist, but I'm rather good at drawing eyes. I liked how detailed I could get with the pencil. Then I drew several lines of varying darkness to test out the eraser.
I began to erase each line, half way across. The lightest lines were absolutely no issue, but then again, I expected that. As I got to the darkest lines, I was ready for the usual smears and leaving behind of the line. But each line erased just as the lighter lines had done. Once I finished all the lines to the half way point, I proceeded to go in the opposite direction and erased the remaining lines from the darkest to lightest. Again the lines disappeared and the eraser didn't leave any smudges (my biggest pet peeve).
I said that I should have tried these while the kids were at school, because as I sat down to try them out, I was instantly surrounded (every time I get a box I'm surrounded). Then all started pulling out pencils to try them out. I was left with the pencil I had in my hand. The rest were "dibbed" out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils are great! My kids love using it- they say its so smooth and they like the dark lead! I like that it comes with extra erasers and extra lead. My kids and I love the colors. I feel the eraser does not erase well. I still can see the writing or drawing i just erased. I like that the lead last long and does not break easily. I like that its light weight and it has cushion grip.
Overall I think its a great mechanical pencil!

Great new pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were super excited when I told them they get to try the new Bic Velocity pencils. My youngest daughter loves mechanical pencils and begs me to buy them for her constantly. She likes different and colorful ones that are not boring. She loved these. They make her feel cool at school and loves the colors. I like that they are a great bargain for the price over other mechanical pencils because you don't have to buy separate lead and erasers , they come in the pack with the pencils. It makes it easier on us moms because you don't have to figure out what size lead you need to get.
