Great mechanical pencils

Love these pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pencils! Easy to use, comfortable to hold and write with. Smooth lead. I have these in our pencil jar for the kids to use with their homework and use them myself for anything I don't need a pen for. Definitely will purchase these in the future.

Great Pencils, Great Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved these pencils. She said the barrel was comfortable and the writing was very smooth. She thought they were pretty "fancy". I tried writing with one and they wrote very smoothly and I was very surprised of how much I liked them. I work in healthcare and we use mechanical pencils at work for certain things and these are just perfect for our needs also so needless to say I will be purchasing more of these to pass out to the ladies at work. The only downside that my daughter expressed was the cap for the eraser. It was nice but a pain to remove when you needed to use. After a couple of uses the cap was lost and long gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I LOVE the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils! We love the fun colors and it's great that both the lead and erasers are refillable! It's nice to not have to throw away perfectly fine pencils just because the erasers are gone, and it's great for the environment too!

BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils Rock at School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils a few weeks ago and immediately started using them at home, but I wanted to wait until school started to post the full review. My children love mechanical pencils for their ease of use and consistently sharp points. Each child took a package of BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils into school. Typically they go through about one pencil a week and we are constantly replacing either the lead or the pencil due to eraser issues or cracks in the pencil itself. The kids have been in school for 3 weeks now and each child is still using their first BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils. I can't believe one pencil could have lasted this long. At this rate we'll only go through one package of the pencils over the school year instead of one package a month. So far my opinion of BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils is extremely positive and it appears they really are worth the slightly higher price point. Good job BIC!

Perfect pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this mechanical pencil is perfect! It writes smoothly for staters. Next in the long line of fantastic quality is that the lead doesn't break as easily as some other pencils we've tried (I'm looking at you pentech). In addition, the additional lead loads easily while again not snapping. Aso if that wasn't enough awesomeness, BIC decided to include additional erasers in the package, genius idea.

Looks Good, Breaks Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I was very excited. They were brightly colored and had a comfortable grip without being overly bulky - I could easily see this being very popular to teens returning to school. Both myself and my teen daughter took a pack - I used them at home and she used them at school. Within days of using these pencils, my teen daughter found that the casing often separated from the top part of the pencil on almost every one of them she had. It was coming apart where the casing meets the grip, and if pushed back together, the mechanical pencil would not work. I did not find this issue at home, where I do not use pencils as often, but certainly I found that they were not very durable, and it would prevent me from buying them for my children in the future. The pencils do write nice and are comfortable to hold. The eraser left no marks. I am giving this product two stars due to the durability issue - perhaps if these two parts screwed together with a deeper grove channel, it could help fix this error.
