Adore these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My jr high and college age daughters both absolutely adore these pencils! They don't break lead as easily as other brands, which is a huge plus! My oldest loves to draw and usually uses regular pencils but has found she really likes these for drawing better as she can get finer details. We love all the bright colors and the girls are constantly getting asked where they got them!

My kids LOVE these pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids ages span grade school through college and they all LOVE these pencils. My youngest loves drawing with them, he says the lead is super smooth, he's able to shade effectively and the eraser is "totally awesome". He likes that any marks he erases are GONE! No light lines left behind, no ripped or crumpled paper, just a clean erase.
My college age kid loves the thicker padded barrels. It makes a difference when taking copious notes and his hand doesn't get nearly as fatigued with the larger barrel. He also enjoys the colors and says it adds a little fun to his boring classes!
Overall, the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils have been a big hit in my house! My youngest claimed a pack for his desk at school, my oldest took a pack to college and we've purchased 2 other packs- one for home and one for my daughter for writing and doodling!
These pencils get an A+ from us!

Love the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been a fan of mechanical pencils. I remember thinking they were cool as a kid, but as I got older I never thought they worked very well. I am a "light" writer. If I don't have a dark ink or lead, no one can read what I write. Enter the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencil. Wow! This pencil was just like writing with a pen. The lead color showed up on the paper and I could read what I was writing without trying to make it dark. The Bic Velocity is smooth. Plus the pencils come in a bunch of cool colors.

Smooth writing

My son likes them because they are darker than other mechanical Pencils. He also like the fact that the girls fight over the color they want to borrow. "Really bright and cool!" , is what they said. Best for me... they are affordable! Thanks BIC

Great Mechanical Pencil

My teenage son uses nothing but mechanical pencils, so his input was very important to me for this review.
They look cool, which is always a plus, but looks aren't always everything!
The lead is strong and durable. I'll admit, I usually buy the cheap multipacks of pencils and you definitely get what you pay for. I am constantly hearing the lead snap while he's doing his homework. But the lead in the BIC Velocity pencils was actually stronger and held up to his intense algebra homework.
The eraser worked nicely and actually did its job without smudging or leaving residue. It's a decent size too! Usually mechanical pencils come equipped with a tiny little nub of an eraser that is used up after a few mistakes.
My son loves the eraser cap, and thinks it's a nice asset. I think that part will be a matter of preference, because for me, I found it to be a little bit of a nuisance, because I'd always forget to take it off before I attempted to erase something. I don't think it's a nuisance enough to knock the rating down, though!
The pencils are a little pricy depending on where you're purchasing them, but you do get extra lead and erasers! Also keep in mind that you get what you pay for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The #2 pencil of the past is out. In is the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil. Once you try these you won't go back. They write great and the colors make it fun. Who knew writing with a pencil could be this great.

The smooth and clean writhing lats her show what nice handwriting she has. The lead last longer since it dose note break as easy as most mechanical pencils.
