Mechanical Pencils are the Best!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have been loving these pencils. The cushioned grip for comfort is fantastic for long homework sessions. The extra lead and erasers are so handy and makes the pencils last longer. No need to throw away because you've ran out of lead and erasers. The pencils have been very durable and should last awhile. I definitely would recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these BIC velocity pencils are incredible. The pack comes with everything you will need including a variety of colors. There are eraser and lead refills. My daughter uses her eraser a lot so the refill erasers will come in handy. The thickness of the lead is perfect because many mechanical pencils that my daughter uses the lead is always breaking. I will totally buy these pencils again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that school has started, my daughter Taylor has began writing notes again. She's in 10th grade & picky about her pencils (weird, huh?). At first she didn't want to use the Bic Velocity for the campaign, because they weren't her FAVORITE pencils that she uses every year, but after convincing her to try them out, she realized they weren't so bad. She says that they write well, are easy to click, and have smooth lead. They weren't her FAVORITE ones, but she says that they can come in 2nd place!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils with the variety of colors they have and the quality of led. I like that the lead dosen't break under a little pressure for my daughter that has an upper body coordination disorder, writing is always a challenge. She normally doesn't want to write, but with these pencils she had fun choosing colors and not just writing with them easier to hold them with the pencil grip. She likes to write and doodle! I also love using them for everyday tasks from grocery lists to note taking.!

Very Precise, Love the Extra Erasers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most mechanical pencils either don't come with extras, or only a small supply of extra leads. These packs came with a generous amount of extra lead, PLUS a supply of erasers! The erasers on mechanical pencils are usually pretty small, and too soft to do much with, but these are great.
The lead is smooth and though it does break off every once in awhile, it does it no more than any other mechanical pencils. I will definitely buy these again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love wooden pencils, a fresh pack at the start of every school year is my favorite part of back to school. This year we started the school year with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and I can safely say I'm a convert! It has the look and feel of a pen, a perfectly fine tip every, and writes smoother than any other mechanical pencil I've tried. I am old fashioned and still use a paper planner - with a pencil because, of course - and I can fit more into the tiny appointment spaces.
I gave a few to my colleagues (I work with behavior analysts who take and graph data with pencils all day) and they all agree they like it better and went out to buy their own.
My son uses one for homework and his handwriting has genuinely improved! This is huge as he is an 11 year old boy who struggles with writing in general.
Overall I love my BIC velocity mechanical pencils and will continue to buy them every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these mechanical pencils. They write really smooth and I don't think the lead breaks easily. I have used other ones in the past that seem to break every time I try to write. So frustrating. We gave everyone in my daughters class one, and they seemed to really like them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils have overall been great for my kids this school year. It is always a hard decision when school shopping trying to figure out what pencils to get when the isles are packed with other parents trying to find the perfect pencil also. Thankfully, i didnt have to do that this year since #BICVelocity sent us free pencils to try out! #GotItFree
The packaging was easy to open and my kids instantly loved the bright, inviting colors. They have been using them now for a few weeks and only one issue. The pink pencil in one pack gave my 10 year old daughter some trouble when trying to get the lead down. Kind of like it hangs up on something inside when trying to click it down. It is still usable, but we leave it at home now so she does not have anymore trouble at school. They like how they erase and write, and I do too! My 5 year old doesn't have trouble holding this pencil unlike some others we have tried. He would prefer a green pencil though! All in all, these pencils are great and i will definitely be buying more.
