[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, it might be cheating, but I actually didn't get to try these out. BUT....my two twin daughters did and they report these are there favorites and they are the "bomb".
I am not sure what the "bomb" means in todays teen speak, but when I cook a meal they like, it is also called the bomb, so I can only assume this is a positive exclamation!
A little history, my girls are finicky about writing utensils, they are self confessed nerds and do not like to sharpen pencils and say that the traditional #2 pencil make to much of a mess for their princess like qualities...LOL
So, for BIC, I think you have a winner, at least when it comes to two girls who basically don't like much of anything....ha!
Thank you for allowing us to try these, and thank you for making a product I can buy with confidence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I really like these pencils by bic. I don't usually like mechanical pencils because of how easily the lead usually breaks. These seem to hold up much better than others I have used in the past. I will be buying these for myself And my daughter for school in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that these pencils are really fantastic. My kids absolutely loved how smoothly they write. Any mistakes that they make are easily corrected because the lead erases so nicely. my kids also loved the fact that these pencils had colored barrels. We assigned a different color to each of the kids, and made them responsible to keep track of their own. Then I had no arguing about someone using someone else's pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that they have additional erasers but I dislike the plastic cover for the eraser. I like another brand better that has a longer eraser that you can raise when it becomes too short to be functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never liked mechanical pencils but this one has changed my view. Most mechanical pencils I have used have lead that you must use excessive force to see which results in broken lead. The BIC Velocity pencils write without much pressure which means less broken lead. Definately a plus in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils were great. They were comfortable and wrote well. The lead didn't break as easily either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] looking at the packaging, I was under the imprison the lead would be the color of the pencil. sadly, I was wrong. as far as mechanical pencils go, they are fairly standard. their only feature that sets then slightly apart is how much lead comes out with each click: it's a tiny bit less than the competition, but I had less tips break off
