[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never really like using mechanical pencil. The pencil or the lean will always brake easily. But once me and my kids try them we love them. It strong hold up for my kids use to refill. I also love that it had replacement lean and eraser. It write very dark as well. I will definitely be buying mechanical pencil now.

My daughter LOVES the BIC Velocity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a reliable mechanical pencil with a comfortable grip, then you have found it in the BIC Velocity. The lead is absolutely wonderful in not being so thin and flimsy. It doesn't break as easily as other leads. The pencil's eraser doesn't smear your work, it actually erases. That is VERY important in making things look neat, as well as not having to use your whole eraser so quickly! The pencils come with refills, and that is definitely a plus, considering that the lead lasts as long as it does. My daughter has had not one complaint about this mechanical pencil. Not only does this build my confidence in the BIC brand, but now that we have found something that actually WORKS, BIC will always have me as a customer.

Fun mechanical pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yesterday was my 2 daughters first day of school. They had previously picked these mechanical pencils to keep in their purses for using during classes. Since the lead retracts, we don't have to worry about any damage of a traditional pencil....and the colorful barrels are fun!

Cool Mechanical Pencils

She likes the different colors and how they are a good size (not too thin). She says they feel like a pen. The only thing she didn't like was she had a hard time figuring out how to replace the eraser. I would possibly buy these for her again.

Very nice smooth writing mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are really well made and write really smoothly. They are really great colors and look great. They are comfortable to hold and write with. I have been able to use these and write for long periods without having any issues. The lead is dark and clear and yet erases easily. I use mechanical pencils often and these are some of the best I have found for everyday use. They are durable and don't fall apart easily. I love having pencils I can enjoy since I have to use them often. These definitely fall into that category.

New and improved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have loved using BIC's velocity mechanical pencils. The lead writes darker then any other mechanical pencil we've ever tried. The lead also doesn't break as easily as it used to. It erases cleanly and doesn't need sharpening. Each package comes with replacement lead and erasers, which helps save money. Not all mechanical pencils come with refills. Some you have to buy separately. The best part has been the colors of course! They love choosing a different color to write with. One of the kids has a different color for each subject. These really are a great school supply worth trying. #GotItFree

My kids are obsessed with cool pencils and they loved these and it wasn't just the kids. Right when my mom seen them she said "as soon as you open those, can I have one?" Love the product and highly recommend them to anyone lookinh for something new and useful.

Not only do they come in fantastic colors, they write strongly, don't break, feel good while holding them and erase with ease. You can feel the difference using these. They are effortless and flawless! I love these pencils!
