My 8th grader LOVES these!!

She has tried quite a few of the mechanical pencils over the past few years but not had much luck...I suspect she is pretty rough on her pencils and if the design and/or lead isn't sturdy enough, she breaks it easily and therefore won't be a fan of it....Over the past few years we have purchased different brands and styles for her and I always hear the same complaints; "Mom, I need new pencils because these don't last"
We received these pencils before the new school year started and my 13 year old was SO excited! So far (about a month into the new school year) I haven't heard anything negative; she likes the style, durability,and design (very important to a 13 year old girl! Lol) of these and I suspect that when she needs new ones (from what I understand the boys in her class like to "steal" her pencils!) these will be the ones she wants more of....

The First Pencil I Like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using this pencil... And that's saying a lot for me... It's been 20 year's since I've used a pencil or even liked them... These pencils write awesomely smooth and have a nice tip at the bottom that makes them feel more like an ink pen. My words come out pretty on paper! The great eraser is also nice because I hate smudges. These ink pens are affordably priced and I'll sure buy them al school year for my son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Vic velocity pencils are the bomb! My son loves them too! He said the lead does not break on him like most of the other mechanical pencils I have purchased and he feels cool having the extra lead and erasers in his backpack. They write very smooth and it is comfortable for him. He doesn't get that red pencil Mark on his finger from the pressure of writing. It's a win win with bic

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter fell in love with these pencils, I gave her one to try out and write with and she was very impressed with it. The quality of the pencils is very high as if i bought an expensive mechanical pencil. These will be on my supply list for the upcoming school supply list shopping day.

BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having two teenagers who recently went back to school was much less stressful with these fun, functional pencils to get them started. I love the rubber grips and the weight of them. Definitely higher quality than other mechanical pencils. The colors are bright and fun, making even the most daunting assignment a little brighter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my girls love these pencils. They actually fight over them if one can't find one to write with at homework time. They write great and erase easily and clear. This has opened my girls up to wanting to doodle and write much more. My oldest even shared a couple of her pencils with classmates.

My new favorite mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gotta be honest, I'm not a pencil person however I was open to this campaign because I don't hate pencils, just prefer pens. But anyways, BIC is a trusty brand so I decided to go with it. I'm so happy that I did because I have to say that this is my favorite pencil yet! The pack was so cute and colorful and the pencil was sturdy unlike other mechanicals I have used in the past where the lead was loose and wobbly. I will definitely keep these pencils in mind whenever I go back to school shopping.
