These pencil meet the seal of approval in high school

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these pencils free from the company to try them out as a buzz agent. Each package had colorful pencils. I especially liked that extra lead and erasers were included and that I would not have to go out and get them later.
I tried the pencil and it was good quality. I also liked that it had a pencil grip.
While I still would not give them to small kids I think they are great for middle school and above.
My14 year old high school student brought them with her for math class this week and she loves them! She told me that the lead is sturdy and that the eraser works great! She was impressed by the BIC velocity pencils compared to other mechanical pencils she has used. It looks like we will be buying these in the future.

Smooth & Rich

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 1-5 packs of Bic Velocity mechanical pencils from Bic Velocity for free in return for my honest opinion. Each pack of pencils came with 2 refill tubes, one containing 5 erasers and the other containing 12 leads. There are several features of this mechanical pencil that I appreciate. Since I titled this smooth and rich, I will start there. These pencils were made with a retractable tip, this works as a glide for the lead, helping to give stability while writing. The way retractable tip works combined with the #2 dark lead, my writing result was smooth and rich. Each pencil was made with a comfort grip, which prevented the "normal" branding mark on my first finger and thumb. Along with this comfort grip and the fact that the pencil is round, instead of squared, it felt more like writing with my old familiar pen. Each eraser is white and does extremely well at its job, even leaving little eraser waste behind.

I'm impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The other day my daughter came home with a project to draw the world map. This was a 2 1/2 hour project and #BICVelocicy stood up to the test. The lead was nice and strong as my daughter normally would break the lead several times with other pencils. The grip is also super comfortable because she did not complain once that her hand or fingers were bothering her. We both give these pencils 2 thumbs up. #GotItFree

Happy Kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love mechanicsl pencils!!! Having different color options really help as well. Each kid gets certain colors so no blaming game if they are misplaced. It has strong led that writes smooth. My kids prefer mechanical and these have done well so far. They last about as long as a typical mechanical pencil but with the strong led there is less breakage. That also means purchasing led less often. All the way around, happy kids means happy mom.

Good but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look, colors and the packaging with extra lead and love the extra erasers. However, i wish the cushion to hold the pencil was softer. The "cushion" on the pencil could be of better quality but the size and location of the cushion is good.

Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are the best pencils ever!! Both of my sons love them for school. They use them every day. They saiy that they are super smooth to write with. My 12 year old son really likes the fact that the lead doesn't break as easy as other mechanical pencils seem to do. We are very happy that we got to try these. I have bought 4 more packages since they came for use to try out. I have a feeling they have replaced our old mechanical pencils because they are so great. Thanks for the opportunity and making school work and homework just a little easier for my children.
