I love this pencil!

My kids love the different colors and I love that there are so many in the pack for a great value. I will continue to buy these and keep my kids interested in writing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got so excited when I got into the campaign. BIC is a well trusted brand that I have always used. When I got the pack the BIC Velocity it contain five pencils. They were different colors and it contain the refill lead and erasers. The BIC lead pencils contain a soft grip and the eraser has a plastic cover so my eraser does not fall off. When I was working on my paperwork the writing was so smooth and if I made a mistake it was easy to erase without any marks left behind. I was so happy that I had to share them so now people at work have the BIC Velocity pencils too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review comes from my 13-year-old daughter, who commandeered one of the sample packs of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. According to her, these are the best mechanical pencils she's ever used. The lead is durable and doesn't break easily, the erasers actually work, and the bright colors help distinguish them from other kids' pencils. She's shared some of the pencils in the pack with her classmates and says that the other kids love them too. Five stars from the 8th grade!

Perfect Pencils

First let me say that our family loves mechanical pencils for the sheer ease of use. No sharpening pencils, etc. However we have a problem with my kids destroying the lead or the pencils themselves somehow.
These Velocity mechanical pencils are GREAT though. The lead is durable, not cheap and doesn't break often. They write so smoothly and erase really, really well. My kids LOVE how well they write, and they love the great colors that are available.
I find my girls rushing to grab these pencils now vs pens (which make a huge mess). Thank you BIC for this awesome product!!! We will be purchasing many for school time.

No more sharpening

These pencils are an excellent choice for nipping that bad habit away. Plus, they wrote smoothly and she uses them for art class to draw. These pencils came with extra lead which was nice.

Awesome! My new go to mechanical pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a pencil person. I love pencils over pens any day. But at work its hard to find pencils. I got these free from BIC to review. I jumped at the chance to have some new go to pencils at work!
I think these pencils are great. They write very smoothly. I haven't had an issue with putting too much pressure and having the lead snap.
The erasers on these pencils are pretty nice too. They don't seem to disintegrate into tiny specks like ones on cheaper mechanical pencils. I love the fact that it comes with extra eraser too!!
Speaking of erasers, one thing I don't understand is the caps. The erasers have caps on them. ...Why? The whole cap thing is why I had to get these in the first place. I think they're supposed to prevent having the lead get pushed out accidentally while you have the pencils in your bag or a case or something. However, upon trying out these pencils for the first time, I immediately lost two of the caps. They're clear so they are very difficult to find if you misplace them. Be careful.
These pencils seem to be pretty durable. I've had one of mine roll of my desk and get kicked across the classroom several times and stepped on once and it hasn't cracked or anything. These might actually be suitable for children and clumsy people like myself.
The look is very nice and the colors are so pretty. It actually looks even brighter and more neon in person than in the photo.
Overall, I definitely think these are awesome.They'll last you a long time and if you love pencils these are totally worth it!

Bic Mech Pencils

My kids are fighting over these things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 14 year old in high school and a 9 year old in 4th grade. They were super excited to get these cool looking BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils with their back to school supplies. They also like that they got extra erasers which is not something that usually comes in the lead refill. The only problem I'm having is when they leave them out after home work and they fight over who's pencil belong to who. Neither one wants to give up any from their pack.
