Fun Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5th grade math students absolutely love the bright colors and stripes on these pencils. It is amazing what math you can get them to do just by giving them a cool pencil! I've enjoyed using these in my math classroom and look forward to continue using them. I wish they wrote a little darker, but I do like how smooth they write and how well they erase!

Who's Bic'n it now?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is awesome! Forget about the kids, I use this pencil non-stop. I left one in my car in case of emergency, I keep one on my calendar, and I stash one in my purse for safe writing. The fabulous colors this mechanical pencil comes in help me distinguish it from other pencils. And it helps keep me organized. For instance, I have a special color for each area I keep them.
Not only that these mechanical pencils are pretty light weight. That makes it easy to store them with my calendar or even in my purse. Additionally, they write well and the lead does not break. I have had my Bic Velocity pencils for over a month and not a single lead has broken on me. For real! And I tend to press hard too. I like the eraser compartment, but don't fancy the lid for it, because I tend to lose them. Other than that this is my #1 Mechanical Pencil.

Mechanical pencils that don't break the first day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity mechanical pencils aren't like the cheap junky and easy to break ones. I don't usually buy mechanical pensils because I don't think they're worth it. These ones are. They are comfortable in your hand and well made enough to survive school.

Loving these pencils

We would spend a small fortune on pencils in a school year. She absolutely loves these pencils and tells me so every day. I won't buy anything else now.

Fun back-to-school mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were drawn to the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils right away because of their fun colors. They stood out in comparison to other mechanical pencils. The kids were able to write smoothly with the pencil and the lead was not prone to breaking like other brands we have tried. It is a good, sturdy pencil. Erasing was typical for what we have seen with other pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As most parents know getting your kids to actually enjoy writing can be quite the struggle. I no longer experience that problem, because my seven year old thinks that These pencils are actually pens! I know it sounds weird, but i'll go along with it to get him to write and do his homework as expected!

She's very picky about mechanical pencils and they didn't disappoint. She put them right in her bag to take to school after she tried one out. She loved the way they wrote and was thrilled they were refillable. They are definitely better than most mechanical pencils out there.
