Love these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these pencils! They write smooth, don't break often and are comfortable to use. I am hooked and like kiddos are too! They love them do school and say that their friends have asked where they got the fancy pencils!! I am a customer for life!

Broken Lead

I cannot begin to tell you how many times during a homework session with my daughter and her friends that I heard the lead go pop pop. These kids must write with the force of bull in a china shop because while the pencils looked cool, they certainly couldn't hold up to the constant writing they were doing for math problems. I think I'll try the wooden pencils more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try out the new Bic Velocity mechanical pencils and it was perfect time for back to school. Pencils are the most important school supply, you can’t go to school without one, so I always want to make sure my kids are stocked for back to school. I have made the mistake of picking up some cheapo- no name pencils in the past, which I will no longer do, but in doing that I have criteria of what makes a pencil worthy of me and my kids.
My criteria for a great pencil:
Writes smooth
Lead isn’t too thin, causing it to continually break
comfortable to hold
eraser works and doesn’t leave marks on the paper
cool, fun colors and attractive design a plus!

The Bic Velocity is a great pencil and I would, and currently am, sending this to school with my kids. The Bic Velocity has a nice gripper on the pencil making holding the pencil comfortable. The lead seems like it is a nice quality and can hold up to my kids pushing heavy on the pencil when writing. As you are writing, it goes on smooth, almost like a pen. With kids, and math, we tend to have to fix our answers, sometimes more than once. We have not had any issues using the eraser on the Bic Velocity. It erases what is intended and leaves the paper in tacted. Best of all, the pencils are super cute! My kids were all excited to take attractive colored mechanical pencils to school this year!

The best automatic pencil yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I joined the campaign for my one high school son who only uses automatic pencils. I was the one who ended up using them though and I usually don't like automatic pencils. They come in great colors, they write nice, and have capped erasers and rubber grips. I would greatly recommend these to anyone who prefers an automatic pencil...and even to those who don't! Great product!

Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love these mechanical pencils. They love the bright colors of the barrels and they came with plenty of lead. The lead in these pencils doesn't seem to snap as easily as other brands we have used. We'll definitely be buying more in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child has had bad handwriting for as long as he has been writing, but since using these pencils his writing has gotten ten times better and it really shows! Before we were barely able to understand what he was writing, but know you can clearly see and read what he is saying all across the page. I have even got my extended family hooked on these amazingly awesome pencils! My cousin had the same situation with her child and she had literally been preaching to other moms within our community and neighborhood about how big of a difference these pencils have made for our children and their schoolwork.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenage son is a ridiculous snob about his mechanical pencils . He totally approves of these !!! He likes the rubber grip , making writing all day easy on his fingers , and the capped eraser helps keep them in good shape and last longer . He said they write easy and the lead doesn't break every time he writes like some cheaper pencils we've tried . Impressing his high pencil standards has convinced me they're the best out there !! #bicvelocity
