Love them!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! Thanks Bic for always coming up with innovative, exciting and fun ways to get kids motivated to learn! My kids love mechanical pencils, just as I did when I was a kid. The vibrant colors keep their attention and gets them ready for school work. My 6 year old runs to get her "special pencils" when it's homework time. My teenager won't use a regular pencil at all. Thanks BIC!

Great pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic velocity mechanical pencil is amazing! I am an artist, and most mechanical pencils break too easily and are horrible for shading. Not with this one. The lead is very legible and dark. It worked very well for shading as well. Also, it comes with eraser and lead refills...total bonus points for that. I'd definitely recommend this product!!!

Great to write with but tough to erase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children were so excited when these new BIC Velocity mechanical pencil showed up. They love new, fun things. We kept them at home for the younger ones since they are not allowed to used mechanical pencils in class-even if it has #2 lead.
We used them on their day work at home and had no problems writing with them. It is a smooth lead and wrote with out any problems. However, when we tried to erase their work it did not erase well. I think it may be just the eraser that was provided as part of the pencil. I used another eraser and it seemed to erase better. I love how dark and fine the pencil writes too.

Fabulous writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great mechanical pencil. First time using it we thought it was a black pen. I had to do a double take. My special need son uses it and doesn't need to apply lots of pressure to have a nice pencil mark. This is one for the test!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls helped me open up my Bzzkit and were super excited when they saw the pretty mechanical pencils in it! They each got to pick two of their favorite colors to take to school, and got to keep them in their own pencil boxes, instead of putting them in the community bin, because they were so special! they have been writing with them, can erase easily, and my youngest with a broken thumb doesn't have to worry about trying to sharpen it!!
