Back to School with BIC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For Elijah's first day at school (really only a half-day), he's been instructed to bring only a pencil.
That pencil will be a BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil. We like them because they come in bright colors, are easy to grip, and their sturdy lead writes smoothly. I also love how their provided eraser comes covered with a cap and erases very clean - because everybody makes mistakes, right?
Elijah gets to pick from a choice of yellow, purple, orange or blue barrels (I keep the pink for myself!), and the pack of five pencils comes with extra leads and extra erasers.
I deducted one star because for myself, I like a somewhat finer lead - what comes with the pencils is a full .7mm. If I can get pencils with .5mm, I'll be delighted.
All in all, BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are perfect for heading back to school, or to work, or wherever you might want to do some writing yourself.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils Make Writing Fun

The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have strong lead and I've yet to break any. They give a nice smooth writing experience and I love how they come in such fun colors. They're great for kids and adults.

great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had actually been looking for mechanical pencils that came with extra lead containers when the opportunity to review these came up. My son hates the feel of regular pencils in his fingers due to sensory issues and I was tired of buying mechanical ones over and over. Love bic options, usually have, so to see these was most excellent. They didn't disappoint. unlike the ones we had as kids, the lead doesn't break near as easy, in or out of the pencil, great quality, worked consistently well and I get to refill them instead of just tossing them as long as the mechanics still work. Yay bic for bringing back a great option

Perfect for my middle schooler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest just went into 6th grade and was looking for "older" kid pencils. I didn't know what that meant until he saw these mechanical pencils. He liked the colors and refillable lead. He felt like he had a big kid pencil, which I think is adorable. ;) He enjoys writi with them at school and at home. The colors are great. The only think I don't like is how you have to remove a piece of pencil to get to eraser, but that's just a mom thing and finding those small pieces and reattaching them to pencil after homework is done. Overall, a really well functioning, cool pencil!id recommend this pencil to anyone with a school age child. They wrote great and have really fun colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I am a mechanical pencil user and always have been but these pencils have help up better than the typical mechanical pencil. I do accounting work and I use pencils a lot because I have to make changes and this pencil is great. Also I like that the lead doesn't break as easy as other brands.
My son liked to use them for his drawings too but I think that I actually like them more than he does. I will be buying these in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! just love these, we had a cute favorite that me and my daughter enjoyed and then these came into our lives to review. Thank you BzzAgent for introducing us to the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils. They are so cool, they write so smoothly and seriously I looked at the tip of this pencil and thought I had grabbed a pen. My daughter loves the look, grip and ease of use of these pencils, plus it doesn't hurt that these come in bright colors too. These are our go to with homework and everyday writing that comes in the school yr. I can definitely see myself buying these again, also didn't hurt that they came with refills, not only for the lead but the eraser as well. Thanks again.

Great pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two children, one in high school and one in 2nd grade. They absolutely loved these pencils! My daughter was excited about the vibrant colors of the pencils and how easy they were to replace the lead. My son stated that the pencils wrote smoothly and felt comfortable in his hand. They both agreed that the eraser worked well and did not push the lead out when using the eraser. I will definately be buying more of these, or atleast the lead replacement. Im happy knowing they are pleased with the product.
