[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were extremely excited about trying the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. Lead pencils are they only kind my oldest will use. This saved us money on back to schools supplies and the kids loved the pencils!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When these pencils arrived I took one out and gave one to my 13 year old son who just started school and is also left handed. I loved the feel of the pencil in my hand and how well it wrote. My son who like I said is left handed and has a hard time finding a comfortable pencil to write with, loved the feel of the pencil and said he could write very comfortably with it! Very Pleased with these pencils!

nice little pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These look so fun in the package, with so many colors! They write very smooth and are comfortable to use. The grip helps to complete crossword puzzles with ease. I also can appreciate a good eraser and this one erases marks away completely.
The only I never got with any writing utensil is the tiny plastic cap you have over the eraser. More often than not these are just annoying, get lost and frankly... are a waste of plastic.
Other than that, these will be my go to mechanical pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just sent a free pack off to school with my daughter. Her teachers prefer he to use mechanical pencils. These came just in time for her to try out. She loves using BIC pens and we have purchased BIC pencils in the past. She really likes the bright colors and the fact that these come with extra erasers! What a great bonus!

A Superior Writing Instrument!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using BIC mechanical pencils for decades as I have worked my way through innumerable crosswords, cryptograms, and pixel puzzles. Velocity pencils are an improvement on my old standard. They write much darker without pressing hard, they erase cleanly, and they have a good hand feel. They do take some getting used to, as if you are used to bearing down to get darker lines, you end up snapping off the end of the lead. Once I had retrained myself to not press hard, my puzzling went smoothly, as smoothly as the Velocity pencil writes on paper!

These write dark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My whole family usually prefers regular pencils because mechanical ones are typically made with thin leads that snap easily. We love the way these write! They glide across the page and the leads don't break. They write dark, too. Only downside is being a lefty. There's nothing that prevents the lead from getting on the side of my hand.
