[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more boring pencils that need sharpening! My kids can't get enough of these pencils. I received my free packs just in time for the new school year and the kids couldn't wait to test them out. The bright colors really caught their eyes. They really do write very smoothly but I found the darkness to be not that much darker then other .7mm lead which isn't an issue for me. The rubber grip does make writing a bit more comfortable for me since I tend to get stiff fingers after writing for awhile. I also hate having to sharpen pencils with shavings all over the place so no sharpening needed is a big plus for me. With the kids being more excited about doing their homework, Bic Velocity is A+ in our family!

Awesome colors

Fun fun fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these new BIC Velocity® Original and Side Clic mechanical pencils are great! I'm not worried about them breaking in the bottom of a backpack or purse. They erase without leaving a mess. They write smoothly and the lead hasn't broken on me yet.

You are NO one with out a Bic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the life of my kids you are no one if you do not have a Bic mechanically pencil. There is no substitution and a regular pencil will not do.

Our Family loves these pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have taken over the pencils! I haven't seen them since the first day I got them in the mail. My son is using them for school (which has already started) and my daughter (age 9) LOVES to draw and is using them to draw her fancy pictures. She would take them to school with her too if she could use them for school work. Being in the 4th grade though, they're still using the regular #2 pencils. My kids have not complained about the lead breaking as they write and draw. When my kids are happy with a product then this mama is happy. Thank you Bic for the awesome velocity mechanical pencils! We will be buying more in the future!

The best pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are great! They write very smooth, the lead is strong, and it's dark. You can even use then in tests that require a #2 pencil. My son loves these. The bold bright colors are good as well.
