Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can compare it to the old Bic Mechanical Pencils because I just threw one out! These are just better! They are comfy and slick and almost felt like I was writing with a pen but I was writing with a pencil! I love these! With these, I felt like every stroke was even not jagged and I remember feeling that the point would often break or the lead would not be even with the other pencils. I enjoy writing with these pencils and so does my daughter. She instantly goes for them and when doing her homework and I wasn't aware that she knew that they had been added to the jar but the bright colors was an instant attraction and when I tried to hide them she knew exactly which colors were missing! So, I'm excited to buy more because if that's what she needs to help aid her after school in homework, I'm all for it!!!

Awesome Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils write great and the lead does not seem to break as easy as regular lead pencils. My kids all use them and make sure there is one in their back pack everyday!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love these pencils. My oldest especially, who is 14 and just started high school. She loves the way they write and the feel of the pencil in her hand. They write very smoothly. My 10 year old also enjoys writing with them. They have made me get more so they have extras in their book bags.

Great mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My opinion for this pencil was, very smooth writing, easy grip and leads are strong, doesn't tip off easy like others do.
However my teenage kids who are in Highschool (boy and girl)'s opinion was bit different than mine. They like the feeling of grip, but thought leads were little too smooth for them to write notes, especially when it comes to writing long essay. And colors can be added more fun style.

Very impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pencils in exchange for my unbiased and truthful review.
I must admit, I am not a huge fan of mechanical pencils. For some reason, the lead breaks extremely easily and even plastic parts of the actual pencils are flimsy, even difficult to grasp often times.
My kids, however, love mechanical pencils. When these pencils arrived, I opened and decided to write the school supply list out to see how these mechanical devices held up. First, I was very impressed with the actual shape and size of the pencil. It did not feel like cheap plastic, but rather easy to hold on to, and not feel like it would break if held wrong. There are grips on the pencils too, so it wasn't awkward. The colors are fun. So, the real test came when I was about to write. I personally write evenly, not a hard or light presser. The lead was not "brittle" but really smooth to write with. I almost would equate this pencil to the smooth regular pencils that everyone pays a fortune for at the store. I usually have problems with the lead constantly breaking little pieces off and me having to add more to the tip. These did not break at a all. For pencils, I would feel very comfortable buying theses for my kids school supplies and know they were going to last, not need replacing within the first 6 weeks of school.
Another plus, the eraser.. It has a clear cap but it really erases smoothly and doesn't leave a residue or rip the paper.
I definitely recommend these pencils for families.

Great mechanical pencils

The lead doesn't break as easily as most mechanical pencils. They include a lot of extra lead and erasers. The fun colors are nice and bright for kids. The pencils write smooth without smudging or feathering.
