They Impressed a 12 year old!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old loves mechanical pencils and we usually by inexpensive, bulk pencils since she uses them so much. Before I saw the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils I was curious to know what would make these mechanical pencils different.
After her first day of school my 7th grader filled me in on her day and added, "Those pencils are really good! They write really well!" In order for the experience of writing with the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils to be a highlight of the first day of school, they must be nice. I was already impressed y the packaging. The bright colors of the pencils stand out immediately and the fact they have not only extra led, but also extra erasers...WOW! I've never been so excited about pencil erasers in my life.
The 12 year old prefers mechanical pencils and she could immediately see a difference in the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils just from looking at them; compared to her usual mechanical pencils. These pencils are thick and durable. They come with a comfortable grip and nice clip. She's even using them for her cartoon art. #GotItFree

Love BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its again back to school time, but buying school supplies is always on a parents agenda. I was really happy when Bic and Bzz Agent offered me their BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils for free in exchange for my honest review of their product. I love them already because they are different from the same old boring mechanical pencils that I had to use in school. Just the big bold colorful pencils and frips put me in creative state of mind. My kids were so excited to open the package and let the creativity begin!They couldn't get the package open fast enough. I liked that they come with extra lead and erasers because we have wasted a ton of mechanical pencils in the past over not having an eraser to use anymore. A dull pencil drives me nuts and sharpening pencils all day long is a huge distraction so I give Bic Velocity Mechanical a huge plus for easy use and no sharpening! One of the pencils ended up on the floor and got stepped on and it didn't even break! Being strong and imaginative make me want to buy BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils over and over again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Mechanical Pencils will blow your mind! Initially...I was thinking these pencils were just like any other mechanical pencil, but I was proven wrong! The colors are bright and brilliant! My kids actually fought over which ones they were taking! I stole the pink one right off the bat! the feel and shape of the pencil reminds me of holding an ink pen, they also have a rubber grip so my fingers are not sore after using for awhile. The writing is so fine, it makes for very clear reading. When making a mistake...erasing is not dreaded with these pencils! It erases so cleanly with no messy residue. Also...I love the fact that these are the brand "BIC", so the leads are readily available at just about any store I shop at. Two packs were sent to me to test/review...one kid took a pack and went off to begin his first year in college...and the other kid is taking a pack to begin her first year of college. When buying supplies for the school year...BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils was first on their shopping lists!

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that #BICVelocity mechanical pencils are pretty great except for one thing, the metal tip seems to get stuck and the lead ends up breaking.. Not sure why it does that or what could be causing it, but three of them have been doing that. By clicking the top a couple of time it usually fixes the problem though. Other than that I wouldn't change a thing about them. #BICVelocity #GotItFree #BzzAgent

Great Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with the new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and so are my kids. I received two packages as a part of my Buzz campaign and took one to work and gave the other to my 3 children. We all love them. This pencil is easy to grip, writes very well and I also break the lead less often. There is a pencil grip integrated into the pencil which makes it much easier to hold and to write with. The eraser is longer which is great for the kids as they erase much more than I do. It is rare that you find a product which works for everyone in our household. BIC has hit a homerun with the Velocity Mechanical Pencils.

Great Pencils!

They were a little big for my thirteen year old to hold but he loved them too. I would have given 5 stars but I really wish there was a 0.5 lead version.
