[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to use the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, she loves to draw and constantly shapening can be a hassle plus the pencil residue on her paper can mess up her masterpiece. When I gave her the new pencils, I expected her to use the for school, and of course she has, and was really excited to tell me she got to use them for her assesments this week since they are #2 pencils. But when she started using them for her drawings she was smiling from ear to ear...She loves the way the lead is smooth and no bumps on her characters she is drawing. Her second favorite part is how the eraser does not leave any streaks or residue. She hates that!
I am so happy BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils has enhanced her love for drawing...she says the broght colors are a bonus!

Great for Back To School!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8th grader was extremely excited to be using Bic Velocity, so when the first day of school arrived, he reminded me to pack his new pencils so he wouldn't miss out on using one! I know that one of the facets that drew him in was the variety of colors and the fact he really hates standard lead pencils. He chose three colors, carefully that morning and put the other two in the pack aside for later when he'd need them. He's been back in school for two weeks now, and he uses his pencils constantly, even when drawing in his spare time! He even tells me they help with his handwriting and are easier on him as he is left handed.
He guards his pencils with his life, while last year he would lose or missplace writing utensils, so far so good with Bic Velocity. He's not lost one, and even lending them out is a chore, but he makes sure he get's the pencil back before class ends LOL. For this reason I decided to send the extras with him to give to his closest friends. He loved this idea! I must say, we have a very big fan here in my son. I have used the pencils myself for my work, and I will admit the lead markings are not dull and light as with many pencils I've used. This leaves your writing highly legible and neat. I have had no issue with accidental smudging and the eraser doesn't tear my paper, wiping away the mistakes I make, with ease. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who writes or draws regularly! p

Back to School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils were a hit in our household. Everyone wanted them for the first day of school. Needless to say I had to actually buy more with the exception of being sent 2 sets. I guess thats what happens when you have kids and they all want what the others have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 16 year old daughter loves the colors of the BIC velocity mechanical pencils. She also loves the flow of the pencil when she's writing or drawing. The fact that it comes with extra lead and erasers are a huge plus. What was she most impressed about, the eraser! It's stable and did not leave a trail when she erased a word or part of a drawing. Bottom line, these are her new favorite pencils!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This campaign hit perfect timing. I have two school age kids and two who are in college. Before I receive the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils, i had purchased some store brand pencils for my students. Then I received these. They are far superior in their writing and quality than the other mechanical pencils. The writing shows darker than other mechanical pencils and has a nice feel in than hand. I also really like that it is refillable. This saves time and the environment. I didn't know that many mechanical pencils these days are created to be disposable and that's not good for our environment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils write very smooth, likea pen. As an adult, I hate using pencils just because they do it glide along the paper well. These pencils do. I find myself reaching for these a lot
