My daughter LOVES these!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been raving about these mechanical pencils. She has been using them for school and loves them. The colors the came in are spot on. The design and structure of the pencil looks like a pen but is a pencil. I love that they came with refills too. I used the pencils as well and thought they wrote great and I didn't break any lead which normally happens with mechanical pencils.

Loved the glide

I loved that it came with extra lead and and and erasers!!!!! That was a huge bonus! My kids loved them!! Can't wait to spread the word for everyone to try these!

Perfect for school

He said they wrote so smooth, and loved the feeling of the pencil in general. He says from now on these are the only pencils he wants me to buy

Sturdy, smooth, stylish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Bic Velocity pencils and was overjoyed to see how stylish they looked even in the package. Upon opening the package, I was also pleased when I put the first pencil into my hand. The pencil was very sturdy. Many times mechanical pencils feel thin and cheap, but this is not the case with the Velocity. I really like the look of the pencils, they almost look like pens, and I love the vibrant, exciting colors. I clicked the lead out so that I could write with it and I was pleased that just a click or to provided the perfect length lead with which to write. The lead was smooth on the page and did not squeak or stick on the page like many other brands of pencils do. I decided to give erasing a try and I love the fact that the eraser comes with its own little cover over it. Now, I come to the only thing about these pencils that I don't like and that is the eraser. The eraser is a bit small, but it works efficiently. The problem I find is that it is impossible to use the eraser without clicking the end and consequently dispensing more lead! That is frustrating. It is an easily fixed problem, but one that I found to be quite annoying. Overall, I think these Bic Velocity pencils are top notch and I would recommend them for back to school or any other pencil use.

Perfect for Middle Schoolers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has been enjoying these pencils. He presses hard, and the lead holds up under his pressure. The writing is very smooth and even...his book reports look great! The erasers are thorough, and don't leave streaks or marks or letter shadows. I would recommend them to all parents for their students, as well as for themselves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never, until BIC Velocity, used a mechanical pencil that could withstand much time with writing before the lead would break. This one is the first one that doesn't break every time I try to use it.
