Great Pencils, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are heavy users of mechanical pencils in our household, so we were excited to receive these. The colors are great, the pencils are sturdy, and they write very well. I have one issue: when we use the eraser, the lead in the pencil gets pushed out so when you turn it down to write again, you have to push the lead back into the pencil. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience that we do not have with other mechanical pencils.

Mechanical Pencils Just Fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That's what both my 16 y.o. and my 14 y.o. said when I asked them what they thought of these pencils. They are just "fine". My 14 y.o. did say that she likes the cover on the eraser but otherwise they are just like other mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sent the Bic velocity mechanical pencils to school with my 7th grader. He said they looked cool & wanted to try them out. When he came home I asked how he liked them. He said they wrote smooth & we're good. He also gave some away to his classmates. I know it's just a teenager with a pencil. But my child is very picky about his pens & pencils. So for him to like them & want more. That's a good sign!

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

They loved the different colors and the extra lead that comes with them and they write so smooth. Thanks BIC and thanks to Bzzagent I love getting new campaigns to be able to bzz about.

Easy and dependable!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these pencils quite a bit especially with my kids who have been using Summer bridge books and I have to say I have never seen a pencil that is as dependable and smooth as Bic velocity.
Many mechanical pencils that I have used are very rough and the eraser is horrible and always leave black smudges but I've yet to come across any of these issues with the velocity pencils. I'm so excited because my kids love to use mechanical pencils and now I don't mind spending a little bit extra for a mechanical pencil that is actually worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 17 year old son loves these pencils. His favorite feature is the extra erasers. He likes the "strong lead" and "comfortable grip." He is anxious to use them at school. We love the colors and smooth writing.
