A winner in your hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old disabled son loves these! He has dexterity issues and finds these easier to hold than your plain #2 yellow pencils. He says he only wants to use these from here on out.

My daughter loves them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opted in to sample the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils for my daughter who is starting fifth grade this year. I was already planning on purchasing some mechanical pencils for her so this campaign came right on time. She was so excited to receive the pencils. Her first enthusiastic remark was over all the different colors! I must agree. Most packages of mechanical pencils you only get one or two colors. Having all these different colors in one package allows my daughter to be more of an individual. As for how well they function, five stars! I really haven't had too many mechanical pencils that didn't function like they should. The main area where all pencils can have issues is in the eraser. Not here however. The eraser works perfectly with no streak marks left on the paper. So yes, I definitely recommend this product for back to school!

Best Pencils EVERRRRRRRR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the new BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are one of the very best we've EVER used. They are easy to use, and the one thing we especially love is the fact they put replacement leads right in the package with the pencils. My kids are excited about their writing assignments now, and my oldest has even started using these in his sketch book!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the BIC Velocity pencils! The lead is so smooth when you write on paper, and doesn't break as easily as some of the others! I also love the cap on the end to cover the eraser to keep it from getting dirty! The variety of colors was great, and everyone in my home now has their own designated pencils! I had to hide all of the extra lead and erasers so I have them to refill the pencils when they run out!

The best of the best ..!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, just in time for school shopping! I didn't get one pack, but two packs for free from BzzAgent! Making my list and checking it twice with #BICVelocity mechanical pencils. Our schools asks for several packs of sharpened #2 pencils... this year I rebel! I'm sending my kids armed with #BICVelocity mechanical pencils. No sharpening needed and each pack includes extra lead and refill erasers. I foresee lots of A+ work this school year!
Yippee! I always run out of eraser well before the pencil wear out! Well down Bic for that. Ok let's get down to business, the pencils have a lovely feel when you write with them and have a wonderful dark colour to the writing so when I draw my plans up, I don't have to press hard to be able to see them, they are not particularly smudgy and the lads are easy to replace. All in all I'm pretty impressed with these. I have stuck some in my 16yr old's bag for school but we have another few weeks before he goes back so I'll have to see what he thinks of them then. The pack also includes 5 additional erasers and a container of 0.7 lead to use as replacements. I am happy that BIC included these additions as it will make my life so much more convenient. The pencil writes relatively smoothly. The eraser seems standard to me and erases most of my errors. This pencil uses 0.7 lead which is similar to a #2 mechanical pencil, which will be useful for my children to use in school. The fact that they don't have to keep sharpening a regular pencil will make their lives so much easier. My teenager already swiped from me one of the pencil packs to use for school! Overall, this is a nice set of handy and useful mechanical pencils.

Taking BIC back to school!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys were thrilled when the BIC Velocity pencils arrived, and they were just in time for school! I usually purchase the off brand of mechanical pencils for them, so they were excited to give them a try. First week of school was a success. They couldn't believe how strong the lead was and how it never broke like the other pencil brand. They told me I better buy BIC velocity pencils from now on! Sorry boys your Mom took some of them too! I love the smooth writing feel.
