Smooth Writing Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Bic Velocity mechanical pencils to try. I decided to put the pencils anywhere I would usually use pens to force myself to use them regularly in different situations. At first I found myself breaking the lead frequently. But after continued use, I found that I no longer was breaking the lead. There are numerous benefits of these pencils. Such as, if the lead breaks, another lead smoothly transitions, you do not have to keep pushing on the pencil. Another thing I love about the pencils is the eraser. The eraser has a cap on it. I admit, it took a little getting used to, taking the lid off. But the eraser does a great job. I love the way the pencils write. As much as I have been writing, I still have not had to add more lead. I would recommend these pencils to anyone who uses pencils, not just students. I will purchase these pencils in the future.

BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I received these pencils to try out about a month ago, I saved them to really put to the test, for "back to school" time. I like the way mechanical pencils write better than original pencils, that you can get a finer line. The draw back is that they always break so easily, and so I don't really let my kids use them because I don't want to have to go through so much led.
I wasn't expecting much of a difference experience from these, but so far have been pleasantly surprised. Since my kids are always begging for mechanical pencils as we do our school shopping, I saved these, and whipped them out when it was time to gather their school supplies. They have loved them. They love the feel of the pencil itself, that it causes less pain to their writing fingers. They have not had a lot of breaking issues, so they have seemed to be more durable to pressure. They say they are their favorite pencils, and only want me buying them these kind from now on.

Wonderful Pencils

My son used these as his Back to School pencils. He said they wrote smooth and the eraser did not leave any black streaks.

My kids love their new BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never seen my kids more pumped to pack their "back to school" backpacks! I got my Bzzkit a few weeks before back to school so I had to hide the BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils on top of my fridge to keep there little hands off! Jack (My 3rd grader) ripped into his pack so fast pencils went flying. He is such a sweet heart and let me bring the purple one to work! Haidyn (my 6th grader) wasn't giving up any. She's been taking a lot of notes now that she's in Jr High, but she told me just the other day how much she loves her BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils! She says she still has to use old yellow #2 pencils when taking test, but other than that she's using her new BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils everyday!

Good Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils come in cool colors that everyone wants. They are smooth to write with and the best part is the erasers work really good. Usually with mechanical pencils you have to use another eraser, but not with Bic Mechanical Pencils!

Perfect for math homework

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are great for homework. They write smooth and dark. The eraser erases cleanly leaving no residue behind. The bright colors are fun too ! It doesn't make math easier but it is a great pencil:)
