Velocity for the writing win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are seriously some of the best pencils I have ever used! In the words of my daughter, "They rock!" I received the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils for free because I'm a Bzz agent & I have to say if you are looking for the best pencils for back to school, then look no further! Hand writing is important, so is finding the right pencil to encourage the flowing of your child's hand when they are on a writing roll! The BIC Velocity mechanical pencil offers the ergonomic shape that fits into both child and adult's hands alike! The pencils feel great to write with; seriously, you know when you find that particular pen that writes really well and your handwriting becomes neater just because of the way the pen flows, well these are the pencil versions! As a bonus, they come in lots of fun colors too (perfect for every kid & adults like me that love bright colors)!
I would highly recommend these mechanical pencils to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE mechanical pencils! I don't love cheap ones and I am very picky when I spend a lot of money on mechanical pencils. When my package of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils my kids were dying to use them....I wanted to keep them all for myself but knew that wasn't going to happen.
First off, I loved how many pencils come in a package AND that I got some lead and eraser refills. I love these pencils and I don't want to throw them away when they are in great working order.
Second, I love how good of quality they are. They are sturdy pencils, not like the ones that we've been used to buying in our household.
Third, the lead doesn't seem to break as much. My kids are hard on mechanical pencils. It seems like the lead is constantly breaking when they use them but with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils the lead doesn't seem to break near much.
I would most definitely buy these pencils in the future and I would most definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Perfect back to school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The erasers on these pencils are pretty nice too. They don't seem to disintegrate into tiny specks like ones on cheaper mechanical pencils. They also don't make that horrible 'noise' that the pink erasers do either, which is great. One thing I do dislike about these though is that they get used up pretty quickly. I've been mainly only using the pink pencil and eraser is about halfway gone already and it's only been about 3 weeks since I got these. It's a little disappointing, but the pack does come with extra erasers. I'd definitely recommend getting a separate eraser though, like one of the the big rectangle ones.
Anyway, personally I think these pencils are great. They write very smoothly. I haven't had an issue with putting too much pressure and having the lead snap. My friend who actually has this issue with a lot of pencils doesn't have it with these either.The design of these is just great too in my opinion. The look is very sleek and the colors are so attractive. My favorites are the pink and orange. I honestly don't see too many orange mechanical pencils. The yellow is great too. It actually looks even brighter and more neon in person than in the photo. The blue one is just blue - there's nothing much to say about it. They all look pretty nice. I may even go so far as to say they look /sharp/.
What a Amazing Mechanical Pencil from Bic! I was really amazed how well my daughter and I liked these mechanical pencils. She liked that they are darker than a pencil and that it is refillable when she breaks the lead. I like the grip of the rubber holder, it makes my hands feel good and not so tired as I write up charts and allot of them. The colors are easy to spot and find in my purse and my daughter said her backpack, that is a plus since kids lose so many regular pencils. I like that I don't have to buy her a sharpener for her pencil box and she loses allot of those too, it is nice it has a refill in the package with lead and it stores it inside the pencil so when you run out it is there for you to refill. I will say these are the best things that Bic has brought out this year, we will be using these instead of regular pencils.

Great Quality Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are some of my favorite mechanical pencils! They came with 5 in the pack of various colors as well as a little container with five extra erasers and twelve 0.7 lead refills, which I really like because it lets my kids use the pencils a lot longer without having to buy them new ones.
The eraser on these pencils is covered with a cap so it doesn't get dirty in the kids' backpacks. It isn't the best eraser I have seen on a pencil but it does the job well enough. As for the lead, I have not had any problems with it breaking. Overall a great mechanical pencil for school that my kids like to use! I got these pencils free from BIC to try.

Bic is our favorite!

The first day I gave them each their favorite color bogey we're stoked to have new nice pencils. I think the way the pencil feels in their hands makes such a difference in how they view writing. It's a smooth pencil that feels like they just want to write more!

Good writing experience for perfectionists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot stand a dull pencil lead. It drives me crazy and I have to have a sharpener on hand at all times if I try to use regular pencils. This was the first year all of my children could substitute mechanical pencils for traditional pencils so it was the perfect time to try BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils. It has been a week of school so far and no pencil sharpening at all!
I am a lead breaker, putting too much pressure on most mechanicals for them to write smoothly. So far I have only broken one BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencil lead and that was when I knew I was pressing down too hard. All of my children have commented how nice it is not to have to stop what they are doing so often to sharpen a pencil.
