[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got so excited when I got into the campaign. BIC is a well trusted brand that I have always used. When I got the pack the BIC Velocity it contain five pencils. They were different colors and it contain the refill lead and erasers. The BIC lead pencils contain a soft grip and the eraser has a plastic cover so my eraser does not fall off. When I was working on my paperwork the writing was so smooth and if I made a mistake it was easy to erase without any marks left behind. I was so happy that I had to share them so now people at work have the BIC Velocity pencils too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took my mechanical pencil into work planning on giving it a test run. My friend Chico noticed my bright yellow pencil and I couldn't resist letting her give it a spin. Chico reviews customer information in our office which can require several edits so using a pencil is mandatory. I passed my pencil on but asked her to please give me her honest feedback. Here is what she thought. First she loved the color...bright sunshine yellow. She said the barrel was sturdy (not flimsy) and nice to hold in her hand. The lead was strong and did not break with pressure. The eraser corrected smoothly and did not smear. The only suggestion was to remove the eraser cap as it was unnecessary and just got in the way. I was happy to pass my pencil along as it made Chicoc's day and she gave me a solid review. . Thanks Chico!

Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are big improvement to the generic mechanical pencils. The lead holds up much better, breaks rarely and is retractable. The eraser has a lid to protect it and makes it easier if you need to throw it in your bag. The pack of pencils also comes with extra lead and erasers, so its really a great value. I would definitely purchase.

Awesome pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried these pencils and LOVE THEM!!! They write smooth and are very comfortable to use. I am a heavy handed writer, always have been. With these the lead doesn't break as easily as other pencils I have used..with is greatly appreciated.

Can't live without mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge lover of mechanical pencils and I'm always trying to find the best ones for myself and children. The Bic Velocity pencils were and still are amazing. The one thing that I didn't like was that when I went to the store to get more, they only had 0.7mm lead and I'm 0.5mm lead girl. Besides that, the pencils were still excellent and I was able to send my oldest to school with Bic Velocity mechanical pencils to start his school year off right. I want to send some with my daughter, but because she's in the second grade I chose to send the pencils that were requested. Also, because I was given coupons to share, I pass some out to people I saw in the store that were doing back to school shopping for their children. I can't keep all the goodness to myself.

My Family Loves Them

My oldest loves that the lead is strong and my youngest enjoys the fact that the eraser is "the best ever". I must not be the only one that likes them because when I went to the store to buy more, there was only one pack left. Another great writing utensil from BIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter did not want to do her summer packet her teacher had given her over the summer. This was a constant fight between the two of us on a daily basis. I told her I would let her use my cool new mechanical pencils if she did her packet. Not only did she do her packet everyday, she had fun doing because the lead didn't break easily and she thought the mechanical pencils colors were awesome. What I liked most is that I was not running out of lead every other time I used it. I press pretty hard when I write and usually go for a regular wooden pencil. Now this is my favorite pencil to use.
