BIC Velocity Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a fan of pencils in general, but if I have to use one, I'd pick one of these. They feel like a pen in my hand, which I like. They also write pretty smoothly without having to press too hard. Lastly, I found the eraser to work effectively. The biggest bonus to these is that my kids love them, and they can refill them.

Amazing pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has Charcot Marie Tooth Disease and has trouble writing but when he finished his homework today, he was telling me how much he loves these pencils. He was explaining that they are easy and comfortable to hold. He also was telling me that the lead is strong and doesn't break easily and erases easily and completely. That news made me so happy as a Mom.

A great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Velocity definitely knows how to make school more fun for children. The new mechanical pencils are durable and there are five beautiful colors to choose from (Blue, Yellow, Pink, Orange, and Purple) they mechanical pencil pack comes with a refill tube of 12 leads, and 5 erasers. What I like the most about this pencils is that it writes smooth while making sure it is darker enough to see your writing, the eraser is very durable, and I like this because as a mom of a elementary girl it is important that the eraser last long and that it doesn't leave crazy marks all over their books or papers. My daughter was really excited while trying this pencils, she likes them so much, and loves how easy it is to write with them.

Incredible Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these pencils from BIC in exchange for an honest review.
First of all, let me start by saying how much I love the quality of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils! They are very sturdy, and fit comfortably in my (and the children's) hands. The grip is great! Most pencils have a very hard grip, one of those chunky rubber ones, or no grip at all. This one is just right. Not too hard, not too soft. No matter what size your hand is, these pencils will fit in pretty much every hand. My husband has pretty big hands, but can comfortably use these pencils. My children (12 and 15) also like the way the pencils feel in their hands.
Besides the fact that the tip of the pencil always stays sharp, my daughter loves mechanical pencils because of how dark they write. The BIC Velocity pencils surpass most mechanical pencil lead because:
1) The lead hardly ever breaks.
2) It writes very dark without having to bear down hard.
3) It is very easy to change the lead.
The colors are vibrant (which my son loves), and he can easily spot them in his pencil drawer among all the other pencils. They also have a very sleek design.
The package comes with some extra lead (so helpful) and some spare erasers (which most pencil brands don't do). The erasers are easy to change, but when you try to erase something the eraser kind of turns in the thing that holds it. That's my only con, is that the eraser turns when you erase.
These pencils are great and we have already bought some more packs for the children to use for school. I highly recommend these.

Writing has never been more fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I belived that these new Bic Velocity pencils are excellent for their value. The package comes with 5 colorful mechanical pencils, it also has a refull tube that has 12 number 0.7mm leads, and 5 erasers to use. They offer a soft and confortable grip, the pencils writes smooth but it's dark enough. The lead doesn't break easily like others mechanical pencils that I have used. One of the things that I like the most is that even when the pencil is dark enough to see your writing in paper the eraser on the pencil erases cleanly without leaving a messy mark on your paper. These mechanical pencils are #2HB so kids can used them at school with no problems. I personally liked the colors, and how easy it was to write with them. One of the biggest reasons I would buy these mechanical pencils again is because they are not only great, but Bic Velocity has the motto that if you are not satisfied with the performance of their products you can return it to them. That's a win for me. I want a product that can be useful, that can last and that can make me happy as a consumer offering me ways to make their products better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Velocity was smooth writing. The lead was string and the grip was comfortable. Teenage girls are picky and mine was very happy with this product. She always has preferred mechanical pencils over any other writing tool and was very happy to try out the Velocity. She was really happy it came with extra lead and erasers. This was truly a great pencil!
