excited for the new pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was excited to try the BIC velocity Mechanical Pencils. She loved having them for the 1st day of school. She likes mechanical pencils in general but she told me she loved these ones. She loves the colors and how thick and comfortable they felt in her hand. These pencils have a nice clip that holds them to her paper when she is not using them. They are made from a durable plastic that wont break easy and has a nice metal tip for the lead to slip thru so the lead stays put.

Fun Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try these pencils! The colors are very fun and cool. My son prefers mechanical pencils, so getting these was a plus. The eraser, erase clean, doesn't leave a black streak on your paper like some do. The pencils came with extra lead, the thicker lead that doesn't break easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The eraser did a poor job. Left smudges and didn't erase fully. The pencil was a little on the thick side for kid or small adult hands. Not something I'd buy again. Thanks to the generous Bzzkit I was able to give in s school supply drive.

Love These Pencils

They love that they always have a pencil to write with that is not broken when they pull it out of their pencil pouch. My daughter loves the bright colors too. They split the packs between them and took them to school on the first day. The pencils look great and the erasers work well too if they make a mistake.

Comfortable,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit that I'm the "lazy" parent that always purchases mechanical pencils for school, because really, who wants to sharpen 48 pencils per child? Bic has been the brand we have purchased the past few years, but Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils were new to us and we were excited to give them ago.
Upon arriving, the first thing my kids commented on were the bright, fun colors and how much thicker they are than standard mechanical pencils. My daughter noted the comfort grip would be very helpful while taking high school notes. The hard plastic of the others gets uncomfortable.
After doodling and writing with the Bic Velocity for a few days, my daughter deemed these "the best pencil ever" and insisted I never buy her another type pencil again. The lead is nice and bold, and writes cleanly, and she says it shades very well. She is an artist who draws mostly in pencil and she was very excited about the lack of lead dust or fall off that is common with mechanical pencils and smear your work.

Love the pencils!

They write so smooth and the wonderful array of colors would brighten anyone's day. They work better than many of the other brands we have purchased as the leads do not break as easily.

Super mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are great. My older son really likes to use them for his schoolwork. He said they seem to work better than other mechanical pencils because they write darker without the lead breaking like other pencils. He also told me that he has no problem erasing when needed. It's too bad his school won't let him us mechanical pencils for standardized tests.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils were great. They havery a very easy and smooth to write with lead, the pencil just flows over the paper. The eraser works well and actually lasts. The pencils come in great colors and are very comfortable to hold while you write. All in all these pencils are great and they are what I will be buying in the future.
