Kids love Mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys have enjoyed these BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils. There is no need to deal with pesky pencil sharpeners that stop working throughout the school year. These come with extra lead in a container for storage. They also come with extra erasers because let's me real kids make mistakes on homework and the pencil erasers waste faster then the pencil. Theyou are easy to hold sin e the are sleek and more comfortable then regular wooden pencils that cause indentations on little fingers. These are not only child approved they are also Mom approved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bic Velocity Mechsnical Pencils are beyond perfect. They are extremely well made. They offer a cushioned grip that makes holding it effortless. Cool colors are all the rage in this five pack- blue, purple, yellow, pink and orange are sure to please!!! My kids have already called "dibs" on their colors. The pack even comes with a generous refill pack, too! These pencils will be perfect for school; they are even compatible with standardized test. These pencils glide across the paper and make anything you write or draw looks so much better. I think I want to try calligraphy...
You need to buy your children these pencils. They will motivate them and inspire them to express themselves through writing and or drawing.

They went on and on about the smooth lead and high quality eraser. They even handed out some pencils to friends who said they loved them too and would be asking mom to buy some. Back to school win!

Test Drive BIC Velocity Take One!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son, daughter, and son-in-law have each been using the BIC Velocity pencils while keeping track of their stats for the Insanity workouts. They write down each day what they did and have enjoyed using the pencils. Blue, orange, and purple were their color picks. My youngest has already told me he would like these pencils for school this year. He loves that they came with extra lead. He seems to always be running out of lead! I will definitely be looking for them this year!

Colorful Fun Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are the greatest pencils. They come in a lot of bright fun colors. The grip is just perfect and very comfortable and the leads don't seem as fragile as some of the other mechanical pencils I've used in the past. I use a lot of pens in my business but there are times when we need to use a pencil and I've always just loves a good pencil. it's just a totally different drawing experience. I do tend to doodle more with a pencil and these pencils are just awesome.

Super Smooth and Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a certain criteria for new pens, pencils, and markers since I am such an addict. I have developed a certain taste for all things in the stationary world.
I'll start from the top, literally:
I found the eraser to work really well. It does a great job of removing the lead marks completely. And white erasers are my personal favorite.
The barrel size is right on. Love that. Not too chunky. I love the clear barrel, that's new.
The grippy thing is really nice. It's not sticky - some of those are sticky and get gross in a dest drawer or book bag. It's nice.
The mechanics of the pencil are smooth working and no really crazy difficult lead loading.
The lead is smooth - and dark. It's also not fragile. I hate when the lead breaks so easily. That is a plus here - tough lead that is smooth.

I gave these pencils a 5 star rating because they meet all my criteria. I love the colors these pencils come in. My sons said the colors of them were a little more for girls than boys. I split up one pack of pencils and they both really liked the blue. I would like to see a color assortment for boys. Guys love mechanical pencils in guy colors.

BIC® Velocity is Beyond Stylish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils come in a great array of colors. They are not only stylish looking but extremely practical. They have a very comfortable grip, the lead is naturally dark writing, the white eraser does not leave smear marks, and they can be used for stadardized testing like the old yellow #2 pencil. The added bonus is you get refill leads and erasers - like I stated earlier - extremely practical! I was thrilled that I got to try these through BIC and Buzz Agent. I am definitely sold that this is a superior product. #GotItFree #BICVelocity

Good not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually like the grip on this pencil. The hard rubber grip is close to the ideal thickness for me for a pencil of this nature. It doesn’t slip and isn’t too narrow. The overall construction is solid, and it feels like it won’t break in your hand. Writing is fine. The lead is standard. It doesn’t break much, goes on smoothly enough and dark enough for school or office work. Overall, the Velocity is fine. It isn’t the best mechanical pencil ever, and it has no real features, but it’s solidly and relatively comfortably built. It is fairly inexpensive and comes with enough refills of erasers and lead to last the user for some time. As far as inexpensive options go for mechanical pencils, it’s a good one, but there’s nothing special about it.
