[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a sample of the Scotch Bumpers to evaluate, which I happily did, and they were the best bumpers I've ever used. All of the bumpers (of unknown manufacturer) that were originally installed on my kitchen cabinet doors and drawers had fallen off, and I kept forgetting to purchase new ones, so these showed up at the perfect time. I immediately installed the bumpers in all of the places the former bumpers were installed. The Scotch Bumpers have remained steadfastly in place and really do reduce the noise when the doors and drawers are closed. I think I'll use the rest of the bumpers in the package on drawers and cabinet doors in my bathrooms too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bumpers work great on my cabinets. My cabinets previously had a non matching color so I removed those and replaced them with these clear Scotch bumpers. These bumpers are a little thicker and more rigid than the bumpers I removed. I prepped the surface and applied them to the doors. What a simple project! They have been in place now for about seven weeks and are working perfect.
I received these free from 3M in exchange for an honest review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample from 3M to try. I had a bathroom cabinet door that was making a lot of noise when it closed if you didn't close it slowly. These bumpers were added and reduced the slamming noise that was coming from that cabinet. I would recommend if you have any doors hitting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these Scotch Bumpers for free as part of a trial. Some of them did not stay stuck to the inside of my cabinet doors and didn't buffer the noise of my cabinet doors shutting. I had high hopes for these bumpers because our cabinet doors don't have handles and the door springs snap them shut with a bang. These bumpers did get a workout as my cats have the annoying habit of opening and slamming the cabinet doors in the bathrooms and the kitchen when they get anxious or demanding attention or food. Once in a while they slam the cabinet doors in the middle of the night and this is the main reason I wanted these bumpers to work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've gotten these bumpers in the past to replace bumpers on cabinet doors where the installed bumpers have lost adhesion. The bumpers do a much better job in terms of noise reduction and decreasing the contact of the wood on wood. The adhesion even over the old bumper spot has been fantastic. I have also received more of these bumpers for free for the purposes of this review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch bumpers are made to use on your cabinets. They are easy to remove from the packaging and easy to apply. They also stick very well. They do a great job protecting the cabinet frame from damage from the cabinet doors closing, much better than the felt rounds we originally had on our cabinets. And while the bumpers did dampen the sound from the door closing, a raised hump across the diameter of the Scotch bumpers would help dampen the sound more by absorbing mood of the momentum. And although the bumpers are designed for cabinets, they would be great to use as feet for a flat bottom purse or kitchen accessory, like a wooden paper towel holder.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great to put in kitchen cabinet doors if you have someone who likes to close doors loudly.
