Poorly constructed. Storage compartment on top for pens paper clips etc. will not stay closed. Body cheaply constructed. Returning and replacing with a brand that costs more. Cheap cheap. You get what you pay for and I regret purchasing this item! Will never buy anything made by this company.

The latch could be better and the tray on the top isn’t really very useful for anothing other than a few paper clips but the file box is the right size for my needs and apparently sturdy enough to last as long as I will need it. They certainly aren’t making them as well as they used to. I have a file box of the same dimensions that I purchased probably 15 years ago that is much better constructed and out of much stronger plastic. But now there aren’t other choices for this smaller size. So this will do.
