The tote will fill the bill for carrying files but I’m not sure if the accessories compartment — a nice convenience in the lid — will stay closed when the lid is opened. The latch seems not as secure as it should be.

We've used it for years and start over at the beginning of a new year (put the old stuff in boxes). You can sort receipts by categories and find them when you want them. The latch handle did eventually come off but it can still be used.
