The small drawer at the top is handy to have in my small office for a little extra storage. The drawers are smooth gliding. It's light enough to move around.

File cabinet was perfect for what I needed it for. With the upper two drawers that lock I can keep things in those drawers that need a secure space. The smaller upper drawer is just what I was looking for to keep those smaller items locked up. Having the 3 drawers is like having a regular filing cabinet with a bonus. You still have the same space as a regular filing cabinet. Plenty of room for your files and having a secure space to put those smaller items is a plus. It is just great for my needs.

I think a cabinet of this quality should sell at least 10-20 % cheaper. I bought this one because I needed to get work done at home in prep for taxes .Otherwise I would have had more time to shop for a better one at a better price
