File Cabinet 3 drawer 18 inch

This file was perfect for where I needed one. The only thing needed was for the handles to be stronger. I put a small washer on the inside of the screw head. Felt it was needed on the inside of the door metal.

Small File Cabinet

I purchased two of these file cabinets for a client - they are perfect for office use for storage - not recommended for primary use - they are too flimsy. Unfortunately one was damaged - when I opened the box - the top edge had a large dent. When I returned it - Staples only had one left and the back and back edges were dented on the replacement file. The manager gave me 25% off because of the severe damage. I needed the file to complete the office setup and rather than wait to reorder a new file - which might have also been damaged - I took the replacement file The files have 3 drawers. One of the files was missing a drawer handle.

Not great but okay

Just okay for a cheap file cabinet. Best for occasional light use. The drawers only open two thirds so it's difficult to access files at the back. It doesn't not have extending drawer runners with roller bearings. The drawers just sit on soft plastic (nylon) pad. The screws provided to attach the handles are too long and the handles to rattle. As other reviews have mentioned you will need to add some small washers to prevent this. The color is much darker than pictured and matches the picture of the 2 drawer model 14443/17783.

Only wish you had more colors. The dark gray is definitely not the most attractive color. Otherwise it’s fine.
