These days many metal cabinets are poor quality and made of thin cheap flimsy metal. This is not one of those cabinets! I was surprised by the good quality cabinet with two locking drawers. Even the shipping carton was sturdy and protected the cabinet from damage. I've already ordered another!

The cabinet itself will do the job; average quality. The first cabinet I received had a drawer that wouldn't open leading to an unsatisfactory experience with my local Staples store. (I will not shop there again!) Fortunately Staples online customer service took care of my issue and I had a new cabinet within a day.

It has 2 deep drawers which will hold countless file folders. The type of folder that is used has the tabs that hang on the inside ridge of the drawers and it has a top drawer to put supplies in it. Only the top and 2nd drawer lock the bottom drawer does not for some unknown reason.

Good design with a shallow top drawer and a lock perfect for my home office. I put my laser printer on the top and put the file cabinet next to computer desk. The assembly was really nothing--just tight up the 6 screws into the 3 drawer handles. The only problem I had was that the screws would not go fully into the holes in the handles. I had to buy 6 washers to fix the problem.
