This cabinet sold for a bargain price but the cabinet is of low quality. The bottom drawer does not lock. The top drawer and the pencil drawer do lock and I have a tendency to fill the locking drawers and put a heavy book in the bottom drawer so it doesn’t topple over when I pull open the top drawer. Also the top drawer will come off the sliding part and then you have to empty it out to put it back on the sliders. So not good as a secure cabinet for files. Probably ok to lock up a couple of lighter weight documents.

So far I love it. It came assembled except for the handles and that was easy. At first I couldn't find the key but then I found it. So far I would recommend it.

The handles were very hard to put on as the screw did not fit properly. The screw does not tighten and the handle remains loose. I bought washers and larger screws to use in order to tighten the handles so there is no play. Also the metal is very cheap and when draw lock is not that tight. I did not return it since it i needed a draw with a lock asap If i find a better cabinet with a good luck I will replace it.

I like the feature of the small drawer at the top of the 2 filing drawers. I ordered it one day and it was delivered within 2 days in perfect condition. The drawers all work well and it looks nice. I liked the first one that I bought so much that I ordered 2 more that week. I recommend this filing cabinet.
