Great filing cabinet

I looked all over for file cabinets that would work in a small space and the amount of drawers this unit has. Found it at Staples!!!

The model I bought had the ball bearing drawer guides which are much superior to the nylon friction guides. The cabinet is very nice. I had trouble with the sales clerk at the first store I attempted to purchase at. I asked to verify that the one I was going to purchase and the ball bearing guides and was told that I had to take what he had. I left and went to another store and was helped satisfactorly

Handles are a bit difficult to install

The filing cabinet itself is nice and light weight plus it looks good. Frames are not needed since the walls are built up to accommodate hanging folders. The problem with the cabinet is the handles which have to be installed. The screws don’t fit well and take lots of effort to screw them in flush. I have one handle which wobbles slightly because either the screw or hole in the handle doesn’t fit. The cabinet also came out of the box with a slight dent in the back corner.

I purchased the filing cabinet to replace an old rusty one. Well it is new but no way constructed as sturdily as the old one. It is very thin sheet metal and is definitely a "medium" use object. Be aware. Other than that it's fine.
