I had a heavy duty extra long metal filing cabinet for years but recently I went on a cleaning-out spree. I needed to downsize to a two-drawer metal filing cabinet of a standard depth that's also light enough for me to maneuver. This one is perfect. So it is not heavy duty but it is not flimsy either. Good for standard paper files.

This a great file cabinet. You can hang folders in it without extra pieces. The smaller top drawer is a good place for pens pencils and other odds and ends. I would rated it at five stars except it only locks the top two drawers
