Only worked one time! Motor failed after first use. Don't waste your money, you get stuck with a mop that doesn't work, expensive mope pads and solution that can't be used

When it works it’s great.

It’s a great product in theory. Just made poorly. Battery compartment does fall off. You can’t get a new one without rebuying the clunker. Proctor and gamble have horrible customer service. They really could care less they have your money now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DONT BUY IT

A bad product. I lost the battery compartment in a moving and now the mop is useless, and no wher I can find that part. It is bad for our planet. DONT BUY IT

Product stopped working almost a year of use.

I bought this a year ago. Purchased a lot of pads and replacement cleaner.it stopped working just has trickles of fluid. I cleaned it and also replaced the batteries. The batteries are not the issue. Now I am left with extra supplies and no mop.

It is not an easy to use as described.

First, the solution bottle is very hard to be inserted to its place until click, no matter how hard I tried. I even tried to push it with rubber mallet. Not an easy product as described.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

-Insert the solution bottle, purple end facing down, into the PowerMop.
-Push the bottle into the device until it is secure.
-Only use the PowerMop solution with the device. Do not open the PowerMop bottle and refill it. This could permanently damage the device and cause it to stop working.

I'll be looking for a replacement.

The new mop pads leave my floors streaky. The overall mop is lighter than the previous one, but I think that is due to the solution bottle being smaller so you are replacing more often. I've used the Swifter products for many years and this is the first time I've been disappointed.

We're very sorry to hear about this, Kathy. The streaking may be a result of our PowerMop not being suitable for the type of floor you have. Do not use Swiffer PowerMop on unfinished, oiled, or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles, or carpets.
If your floor is brand new, it may have a special coating to protect it during shipping, and this can cause streaking. If this is the case, using the product a few more times should solve the problem. There could be other explanations too, so we'd like to connect and help. Please call us at (800) 742-9220.
