Lasted a month, I'm so bummed!

If I had reviewed this Swiffer PowerMop the day I got it, 5 stars all the way, but I've had mine for about a month now and the cleaning solution needed a replacement so I went and bought the pricey container (It's pretty lame that it's not refillable too). I replaced the old one and it will not spray! I've replaced the batteries, taken the container off and put it back on, checked for a clog... I don't know what it happening. I seriously loved this thing and I am so sad it is already done for. It's not exactly the cheapest Swiffer floor cleaner available, you know. I thought it was better than the Swiffer Wet Jet and I love the weight and feel of the PowerMop. It's excellent for really getting my tile floor clean. Now that it's broken I'll have to go back to the WetJet, which is okay, but I feel like I wasted a nice little chunk of money. Bummer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked great when new… not at all now

When I got this I was so excited. New out of the box it worked perfectly for what I needed. I ran out of cleaning strips so it sat for a month. It now does not spray at all. I have replaced the batteries twice from different packages. It is worthless now. This is the same reason I had to replace my wetjet with this one. Save your money.

Product not as expected

I needed a new mop and saw this one advertised, so I thought I would try it. It worked great until I went to add a new pad. The pad would not stick like it was supposed to. I still can't get it to stick and I've been trying for 2 weeks.

Pump Quit

Worked great for a couple of months, but started not working, and now the pump doesn't work at all. Changed batteries twice, and nothing. Awfully expensive for a dust mop. Doesn't last. Would not recommend.

I love them but….

I have had a couple of these and I live them but….. where I have a problem is the handle does not stay clicked in. Even having the rubber covering the little tab that is supposed to hold it in place does not stay locked. I am constantly having to shift the pole to try to get them to stay locked. I’m not sure how to remedy this, but you need to make the little pins longer so that things quit popping out. The little piece of rubber to cover it does not help.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bottle does not click in.

I loved my trusty swiffer sweeper that lasted about 6 years before it finally died so I was excited for this new seemingly upgraded version. The bottle will NOT stay locked in. It keeps popping up and out of the device and I have to hold it down to get any spray out. I am no weak lady- I am certain I am pushing hard enough, especially given watching videos of other people clicking it in with a few fingers. I think mine is defective. Hopefully I can return it.

We're sorry to learn that you're having this trouble, and are glad we can help you through this; thanks for taking the time to let us know what’s happened. Our Quality Team has discovered that the silicone cap on the bottle can sometimes bulge. Remove it from the PowerMop and take a look at it. If you see that it’s extended, rotate the purple cap counterclockwise about half a circle, or 180 degrees. Then, to check for leaks, tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds. If all stays dry, put the bottle back into the PowerMop. If there is a leak, turn the bottle upright, return the cap to the position it originally was in (180 degrees, rotating clockwise). Put the bottle back into the Mop and let us know if all is set. We’re available Mondays-Fridays, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Call us at 1 (800) 214-8734.
